    As someone in shipping trained in hazmat, yes it is a battery that needs to be declared. I even have to declare single lithium aaa batteries on their own now. With the whole phones lighting on fire issue the rules for hazmat shipping changed and unless it is shipped ground it needs to be declared ( also is declared if ground with a sticker stating do not ship air lithium battery enclosed. Both lithium ion and lithium metal are the big 2. A lot of companies aren’t doing it, and they run risks not following it. So yeah. Un 3481 lithium ion batteries contained in equipment is right.

  • @arthurmann578

    @arthurmann578

    I heard that some overseas companies do not ship their motherboards/systems with the little lithium cells because of the strict rules in place. They just leave it up to the buyer to put one in now when they receive it and set up the BIOS themselves. Could be a real pain in the ass for newbies though, who don't understand about setting up a BIOS.

    @@explodatedfaces I noticed that the CR2032 batteries are being used in a lot of things now. My sister likes buying those "electronic" candles for her home and they all seem to have CR2032s' in them. I have actually taken some out while they were still brand new and used them for some CMOS/BIOS chips but it can be hit or miss with there longevity. Even the separate packaged and more expensive ones don't seem to last as long anymore. I remember when they would last for years in a BIOS and even a watch, but now forget it. You are lucky if they make one year and they don't leak besides. Thanks for the info on the shipping rules as I did not know that. Be well!! 👍👍

    2:39 CMOS batteries are in fact lithium, just non-rechargeable. A motherboard I bought on AliExpress recently had that battery removed for that very reason, but a prebuilt needs it obviously. For future reference, it says "Section II" batteries which usually refers to small coin cells but can also be certain "dead" batteries.

That being said, I bought the parts for my computer as well as another PC for my brother in law from them and they had some very competitive prices.

The only downside is the warranty, but that's a sweet build. Was funny to see the 4400MHz support of the motherboard, if only Ryzen could benefit from it.

    It really is a huge shame it wasn't packaged better. I mean as far as prebuilts go, the assembly and part selection doesn't seem that bad (and big plus for things being standards-conforming parts at least). No pre-installed VD is always nice to see too. Even the biggest eye-roll (the useless fans) weren't really an issue since it maintained acceptable temps. The cable management looked... kinda good. 5 dollars in better packaging and it would have been a much better experience all around. That and maybe a less err... flashy fan on the radiator.

    Hey man, try rechecking back the rgb hub. Usually china made brand like aigo, segotep, gamdias etc, their rgb hub has this 2 pin where you plug your casing reset button to change the LED mode, but the hub also comes with argb if you want to pair with your board. Try find that 2pin connecter on the hub, short it with screwdriver or something it will change the mode from normal led to motherboard argb mode.

    Dawid, I realize this is an old video, but you can hold down the reset button (if the reset switch is plugged into that RGB controller) it will switch to software control. then you'll be in business. most RGB systems have the reset switch configured to switch from the controller hardware to software control. If you still can't use the Asus software, see if you can download software made by the RGB fans e.g. thermal-take etc.

    At lower resolution faster CPU does matter, because graphics card works less for each frame. Consequently, CPU needs to "prepare" more frames per second, therefore better CPU wins. At higher resolutions GPU needs to work more, so better GPU wins.

    It doesn't matter how well system builders pack their PC's for international shipping, there's always change of transit in damage and a lot of that's down to the sorting hubs where they just bounce from one conveyor belt to another. In this case though, being double boxed and internally packed might have helped with the transit issues and most reputable suppliers would have done that.
