Echinopsis hybrids are so rewarding with their flowers, albeit transient. I too add lime chips to my Astro compost mix (and for some Mammillarias)

Hi Shane. What a gorgeous gal! The colour of the party girl reminds me of a Lobivia, and just when I thought there was just one, I saw the orange one. There are no words to describe her beauty. I have a few echinopsis that just refuse to bloom. How long do the echinopsis take to mature and bloom? You have a staggering collection of rebutias too. Don't you just love the flower power that comes with gymnos? Thanks for the information on the Parodia's bloom power by the way, as I was under the impression that the gymnos flowered the most.
