Heartbreak is so painful and I understand her pain completely. Feelings of betrayal, but also feeling like you lost a part of you. But I guarantee her or anyone else that was hurt by someone they loved; you can and will 100% move on. I felt just this way, but now I actually cringe at the thought that I used to because there's NOTHING there anymore. Nothing. Not even negative feelings. It all was replaced with a much more mature, nurturing, loving, selfless, emotionally intelligent partner I have now. There's no comparison.

You should never love someone to the point whereby it's to your own detriment. These kinds of relationships are so toxic and heartbreaking and you really do lose yourself. It was great to see that she was in a much better place a year later. Time makes everything better and we learn and move on. Been through this of 2 years… got out in the worst way ended up in another realationship like this and left again and I focused on myself even though I wasn’t happy and 3 years later I’m now engaged and in a healthy relationship

My ex had no empathy when I found out he cheated on me with text proof and everything. He called me crazy and too much to handle and then admitted to everything finally. He didn’t feel bad even when he said “I’m sorry for what I’ve done to you” he was sorry he got caught. He slept with my ex best friend while we were together. They both didn’t care and she bragged about it.

When you know you have given everything with a pure heart you are always the the winner in the long run because you were true to yourself and your feelings. And as time goes by you don't need to regret anything because you did everything you could. In life you usually don't regret what you did but what you did not do. She is vulnerable but I feel more sorry for him because the sadness in life is not the death, it is what dies in us when we live. And his behaviour tells me he is more emotionally dead than she.
