It's because once you make a new commitment, you hope that together you hold each other to a new level and standard. Once either cheats again, you open up the old wound, and you come to realize that you are not on the same page in your relationship. This is why it can be shocking.

After a person cheats. It’s never really the same. Scars being bandaged together are still scars bleeding eternally. You forgive but you don’t forget.

You don´t forget and you don´t have to. It´s an experience you got with a lot of pain and a broken heart. But forgiving is the best you can do. Hating is the wrong way. Revenge is the wrong way. I can understand if you want to hurt the person as much as they hurt you. But it´s not the answer. Me and my partner often talked about what happened when we got together the second time. It helped so much. Yes the scars are not healed yet and yes they bleed some times. But you both or even you alone can fix this with forgiving and loving.

Dear, if you love a person, you fight for that. Yes, you can take bad decisions, but love remains there. If people were like in this times and just walk away, no one would ever be happy. Love is a process made by our brains, we cannot stop it, it's not a choice, it's inevitable. So if they decided to remain together, it's because they knew that those love hormones weren't the only ones keeping them together, their hearts did it as well.

Most people wouldn't want to fight for something that's already dead and ruined, despite of their hurting heart. When one partner cheats on the other, the other has probably lost all of their trust in them. And after they break up, of course it's gonna hurt because the love is still there, however, the pain and betrayal is also there. It all depends on the situation and especially on the people, but fighting is not always the right thing to do. Sometimes, you have to let go. Even if it's the person you love or once loved that you have to let go of.

In conclusion, no, you don't fight. Most people don't fight. And that's okay and only natural. Fighting for the person you love is not always as romantic as it sounds. It can be a huge mistake, especially a dumb one. It can have a toxic end to it. And when it's toxic, letting go hurts less than holding on. And then the person can heal.

The girl withe the shorter hair looks so hurt. I hate that the other woman just acts like she was the victim and is completely oblivious to the pain she has brought upon her girlfriend. You should never cheat on a person you love, period.

Well, I wouldn't say those solutions are necessarily easy- for many people it seems easier in the moment to get their needs met by cheating than by talking the issues out with their partner. Honesty and vulnerability are scary. However, their partner should be the person they trust the most with these things, and this approach is very destructive in the long run.

My ex cheated on me too, but when he told me he still loves me, I decided to fight for us. But in the end, he came up with another excuse to “take a break”. And I just realize, he didn’t love me, he cheated because he fell out of love but was too much of a coward to tell me . It’s devastating honestly

Happened to me! Hahahaha And after seeing how things were going to unfold at the end... Even although it hurted, I removed myself from the relationship before being cheated; without drama o disclaims... Just moved on. I wasn't going to live that experience! His ego was hurted 'cause it was me who left him, and started to be cruel, so I decided to cut contact to protect myself! Cried a lot hahaha I still do! Cognitive disonance... Who you believed to know is an unknown person! But it was the wiser choice I think. He cheated every girlfriend that he had on the past, so some things never change. I love him so much, and I wish him all the blessings and happiness. But I want it for myself too. It was like 6 months ago! It hurts a lot, but it's for a bigger purpose. Every relationship gets boring and it will get boring after you've been together for years. It's always fun in the beginning. It's always exciting when you're getting to know each other. It's always thrilling to chase one another. Eventually, it gets hard. Eventually, it becomes difficult. Eventually, it drains you. That's when people tend to quit and go look for someone else because "the spark is gone" and they want to feel wanted and admired and loved again. But listen, that's not how it's supposed to be. No, that's not how it works. It doesn't have to be that way. Even when it does get boring, that's when you're supposed to remember why you're with that person in the first place and it's never too late to find that happiness that you both once found together because the truth is, it's always been there and it never left. Even when it feels like feelings are fading, that's when you're supposed to know how much this person means to you and what losing them would be like because being able to love someone even when they're being hard to love shows that your feelings never left. Even when it feels like you're done, that's when you're supposed to realize that no matter who you're with, it's always going to get "boring" so you might as well be with someone who's willing to love you unconditionally and never give up on you.

Oh my fucking God Im so tired of seeing that.Cheating sometimes is a choice that you dont care about.Sometimes its a mistake.Mistakes are wrong choices in a way.Like isnt it possible for a human being to do something bad and then realize oh damn I fucked up.Its not really that different.It is possible to feel remorse and regret for something fucked up you did,cheating included.

I’m sorry but if you can give your body to someone else, while you are with someone...that’s not love. That’s not even close to what love is. If she truly loved her she wouldn’t have even thought of another person. People have “love” all messed up these days. No one can tell me that’s love.

BodyMod Lover I agree with you! I think you can love someone as a person but if you were to cheat on someone, you don’t love them fully or are in love with them. That destroys someone inside and you can’t be in love with someone you can easily destroy.

This was a beautiful moment to be able to witness in someone’s relationship.

Because I was cheated on in such a horrific way. I am broken. And I don't know if I can be fixed. It breaks my heart to such an extent, that I don't believe that I'll ever recover. My insecurities about another relationship prevents me from having another relationship.
