I have an ex that owes me $300. Kept saying he would pay it back. I kept seeing on social media that be was going out with friends so I was like you have money to go out but not pay me back? I was even okay with him paying me back in installments. He never did. I got tired and of it and ended up blocking him. He was still friends with some of my other friends and whenever they would ask him if he paid me back, he would use the excuse "she blocked me on everything so how can I?" I cried when Anna described her situation because this also happened to me. A week after the breakup, I found out that I was pregnant, I wanted to communicate with him about what to do next. I wanted to get an abortion because I know I can't raise a kid by myself, and it would be unfair to bring a baby to this world knowing his/her dad doesn't even care about them. So I texted him the situation, and he responded with "What's to communicate? You made your decision." Then he ghosted on me. I am still hurt by what he said to me to this day. How can a person be this dismissive? They acted like if they don't get involved, there will be no problems or troubles. But do you know how much pain we have to bear as a woman getting an abortion?

Happened to me to, but when we were spilt up this girl posted on his socials and I told him to bring my stuff back then two weeks after that I found out I was pregnant and told him he acted so supportive to whatever I chose to do, told me that girl meant nothing to him and he wanted to get back together, I told him I needed him as friend for time being then I went to hospital miscarried and texted him that I needed him to come over to be with me bc I was obviously struggling emotionally and mentally, that afternoon he went to see the girl he told me meant nothing while I was mourning alone. Yesterday after not viewing any profiles for about eight months me and my friends decided to look, the girl is three months pregnant and she’s having the baby. Absolutely rough.

He might just be a jerk but finding out that your kid 'kind of' died and the mother was someone you weren't on good terms with, it takes someone really mature, that knows how to handle their emotions to be like "Even though I'm in pain, let me focus on your pain and see if you're good". Miscarriages are of course worse for the mothers but it can be traumatic for fathers. ps. I don't think he did it the right way but losing a child is heavy at any age.

I went thru the same thing as the girl who had the miscarriage. We had been broken up for two months when I had the miscarriage. After it was confirmed I reached out to him and told him and he said “I feel nothing towards the situation because we’re no longer together“. Still to this day I don’t know what I expected from the phone call but it definitely wasn’t that. Having to mourn the loss of a relationship and mourn an unknown pregnancy and unexpected miscarriage was very painful. It's hard until you realize that "what could have been" doesn't exist. It's just an imaginary scenario that your mind made up. It's got nothing to do with reality. You've been holding on to a fantasy, and the person you were with were never who you imagined them to be. There are of course exceptions to this, like if your partner dies or if some other circumstance forces them away from you against their will. For relationships that end with breakups though, the truth is almost always that "what could have been" could never have been, or it would have been. Once you realize that your idea of "what could have been" isn't real, then it becomes much easier to let go and move on.

Break-ups are good? Excuse me? Break-ups are never good, something breaking apart is never good. The lessons you learn from them sometimes (not always) CAN be good, but the breakup in itself could be and often are awful, ugly and painful, so don't try to glamourise it by your misleading words.

Honestly, the man who just "went to sleep" when she told him that she had a miscarriage, is sort've the most cowardly and ignorant person on this earth. Miscarriages hurt like hell and really affect the mother mentally. Then he just turns his back on her. That's terrible.

Sometimes people just want to get over it easy and simple. Would you rather if someone invited you to a restaurant and yall had a nice dinner then at the end be like "So this isnt working out, we had a good run but this isn't working out because you aren't the one" then you start hollering like a big baby and BEGGING the person to stay with you then they just walk away leaving you in the dust Or Just text "hey so I know we have been through alot but I need time for myself to think about my mental health and I can't focus on that while we're together, hope you understand" then you would feel better because you would want the best for the person in that case and you could "I completelyunderstand" and save yourself the embarrassment. Geez Anna I really feel for you. My ex-boyfriend went to ER to save his ex-girlfriend while we were dating, because she had an inflammation down there. He said he will be always there if his ex-girlfriend suffers. But when I found a lump in my breast and I asked him to come to the hospital with me cuz I was scared, he didn't give a f*** and started sleeping. He cares about his ex's private part but not my cancer. I dumped him right after and it felt great. And I also found out I was cancer-free so it was all good. and it's really good that you finished with that guy. The god will send you a real man for you soon so please don't cry. Never fall for a man who doesn't protect you, they're not real men.

When I try to convince them of something they choose their own words. They prefer to close their mind and ignore what I am trying to say. I got blocked. That's it. No text, no email, no calls, no closure. NOTHING. It hurts. That was 4 years ago. Last year, I found someone who genuinely cared about me and we were in a relationship. I understand that what she was going through was difficult, but I was frustrated by the way she went about it and I didn't even know her, I can't imagine someone breaking up with me and then sending me those texts, I probably would have responded in a very similar way. He had no context for what was happening on her end, but she was behaving as if he did and it was hard to empathize with that.

A pretty lady who fell in love with somebody... I cann't imagine she sharing her feelings, dreams... and then the guy does not respect her vulnerability and soul and just kick her out like an animal... it is a tragedy.

I gaved a guy who i was dating for 1,5 year 500 euro, he gaved it back but after he gaved it back he kind of cheated on me for 2 months. He totally manipulated me. I was a total fool cuz i knew. I never should had helped him. He would had lost his house then.

@@kwasylar3215 If you owe someone money, you pay them back, or risk getting sued, and if you get sued, don't expect any sympathy because you won't get it. Personally, that guy is a bit dull for giving his partner anything more than $0.00, but I suppose I'm just a lot less nicer. If I was dating someone and she asked for money, I'd tell her to start applying for jobs, because I'd rather set my money on fire than to give it to someone else.

Damn break ups are bad themselves but through a text must be harder like imagine randomly sitting on your phone and you get a text expecting something different... something happier Stay strong Guys and know your worth!! :)

H. literally how it is. i was just chillin listening to music and then i get a text message from her after she ignored me for a week and barely responded. reading that text felt so impersonal, she said she was getting really overwhelmed but it’s like so you’re doing this make yourself feel less stressed and your solution was to break up with me over text to and make yourself feel better and release your stress at my expense? gotcha. thanks i thought you’d care about me. did you think of how that would affect me like?? so yeah don’t break up with people over text.

My ex broke up with me via text when i was shopping at a mall without any real reason and not willing to answer any questions, it's reall shitty, though 6 months later when we spoke about it she told me the reason and actually got together again for like 6 years then we ended the thing again but this time it was in person

It happened to me yesterday when I was at work. I stayed late to try to catch up on things and he sent me the text and I wasn’t able to catch up like I wanted to. It hurt so much because he was being pretty unresponsive but I figured he just had a lot of work. I was wrong

I dated this guy for about a month, he broke up with me. A few months later he said he wanted me back, I missed him too so we got back together. It was great for a total of 4 days. The last 2 days were us barely talking. I tried to reach out to him via text trying to deny what I already knew was coming. That's when he told me he didn't like me anymore. It really sucked. I still like him but I know I can't be with him again. He'll just get bored of me like he always does and I can't put myself through that.

Anna deserves so many hugs omg I hope they are all doing well now
