I installed this shifter. I was able to do it with just a set of wheel ramps on the front wheels. You don't need to remove the exhaust, driveshaft, transmission mount. A good set of long extensions and a swivel mount for your sockets will do the job. If you watch the Steeda Tri-ax short throw street shifter install you can see how to do it without all the extra steps. Hope this helps someone who is considering this shifter install.

Far better how-to video than American Muscle. Thank you for taking the time to being instructional and providing a video that walks you step by step from beginning to end. Just knowing which bolts to removed and where they're located was a huge time saver and helped to prevent removing bolts that has nothing to do with this project. Again thank you.🙋🏻‍♂️

If I was going to do all that, I'd just go ahead and install a Barton hybrid 3 or something that doesn't use the oem shifter housing

Sure miss the days of the fox body shifter install. 4 bolts on the top and you are done. Even my S197 was much easier than this.

Hello I just installed this shift and I am having trouble. 1st and 2nd Gear is hard to get into and pulls like 3rd and 4th. I need help. any solutions? I have a 2018 mustang gt
