@@tyfighters002verkerk9 I beg to differ. This Hurricane didn't go over Oahu, only the outer bands.Yes, there was damage but THANKS TO GOD, it wasn't as severe as newscasters reported. Prayers do work. You should try it sometime before you knock it or respond with negativity instead of positivity.

And now we have fires on Maui over 300 acres of land and homes, over 500 people evacuate this morning, and just now another evacuation. While dealing with the winds of the hurricane coming to us.

As a person from hawai’i we got another one coming it’s called Hurricane Douglas but this time all the models shows it’s gonna hit the whole island chain this stormed dogged the island chain we got the outskirts one models shows the eye passing a few miles from my home pray for us 2020 loves to kill us

I am in maui I suposed to flight back home tonight 9 pm but my flight got canceled right now is 7 am and everything is so calm is no iven raining I dont know if what they been saying is true or is not true

Man, they would be wiped off the map if Harvey had hit time. Looks like most of the flooding shown was in flood plains.

Lane will not go away just because someone asks it to.

Maybe it will put out the fires from the volcanic activity.

One thing is for sure. These are natural occurances, not disasters. With volcanic eruptions, to hurricanes, all I hear is how the island can't catch a break. The island is growing, and the land is then being made fertile and clean; that's what volcanoes and hurricanes do. However what we as humans do to that free fertile ground and those prestine resources surely makes us by far the biggest disiaster that neither these islands nor this planet can get a break from. This one meteorological episode and most people's reaction to it really vividly illustrates the greatest misunderstanding and level of ignorance that the self-serving and self-righteous human has in regards to its relationship to this planet. Either that or we just do whatever to build hype, profits, and popularity. Leaving everything else to Google and the media to decide for us.
