I am really impressed by Hawaii for how they have handled this all. Calm leadership. Unified action among agencies and people. You all are inspirational.

Poor Hawaii! It’s one thing after another. They just get a break. Maybe the hurricane will dampen the lava flow. My prayers for the people in Hawaii!

The flow stopped weeks ago. Torrential rains would have no effect on the lava anyway. It has been a rough time, our emergency workers and first responders have been working their a$$es off. We love and appreciate them. Hurricane season does not end until October, so we're always prepared.

A ruined vacation wouldn't be nearly as bad as people losing their homes, or even lives, of those who live here. They said hunker down, so we did just that since Wednesday evening.

Seems harmless, in fact it will clean it up

Micronesia, Guam is 3,695.49 miles west of Hawaii. 2402 miles SW by west of Bikini Atoll. Hurricane was east of Hawaii not west. So it would still need to travel over 2,000 miles to reach the Micronesia isles. But it is not expected to swing south so not likly to get close to the Micronesia Isles. There was a word or two on them. But It was associated with Typoon Soulik and Typoon Cimion (Don't know it's proper name) and Typo13. As the Micronesia Isles are west of the dateline so those Islands are not in a Hurricane zone as they are in the Typoon zone. So the last three typoons passing the Micronesia Isles were spoken of. But mostly by Phillipinoes, Chinese, Japanese and South Koreans.

A Nuke scare. Volcanoes. Hurricane. WELP, that's a Trifecta. Like celebrity deaths, that should wrap it up for Hawaii catastrophes for a while.

Hawaii has an active volcano and two weeks ago Indonesia and Fiji got an earthquake. Now Hawaiian citizens are being threaten for a hurricane. They must get out the danger zone.

World Exploder the volcano isn’t a concern anymore. The rain hitting the lava is a bigger concern because of the possibility of a steam explosion. Water on Lava isnt a good thing.

World Exploder Seems you need to learn more about what fuels volcanic activity. A hurricane isn't going to cut it. The water will just cause steaming where there are hot spots.
