I heard on the radio the other day why this is happening. In the US, a teacher gets check on every two years and asked how they are doing. There are 6 criterias but none of those ask if they are teaching anything. Therefore, a teacher legally does not have to teach. After two years the teacher is tenured and cannot be fired as easily unless they do something very bad. There are good teachers out there, but usually the ones that are good are in the good districts because of the students they are teaching because they care, and their parents care. Edit: Putting this in to clarify what I heard. It was on the Dennis Prager radio show last week. A newly retired 37 year teacher in the California state, I believe just LA but could have been more was describing this. Do not remember his name.

States, for example, may have both because of referendums and the legislation may bring a direct vote like abortion in Kansas. Any system that allows citizens to vote for outcomes indirectly or directly is a form of democracy. See the formal definition of democracy. Winston Churchill, who allegedly made that quote, was contextually talking about the system which put him in power which was a form of democracy.

Because the American education system groups history, geography, and political science into "Social Studies" to better fit early curriculums. History is usually the main focus of the class, and is often just called "History" class if not "social studies". So you often will learn geography in History class. They are not the same but this is most likely why they are saying it. Cuz their only experience with learning them was at an early grade school level.

Prime example why there need to be tests you have to pass to vote, period

This is why I’m a devout pessimist, to me it doesn’t really matter if he cut out people that got the questions right. The fact that he is able to find enough idiots to make video after video after video with new people each time is proof that our citizens are this ignorant. These questions are as easy as how many fingers are on each hand.

You know what makes this worse, the fact that a fellow American is taunting them and trying to embarrass them rather than educating them, and filming it for the world to see, that right there is why we are in the position we are in, we laugh and try to get likes rather then teach 🤦🏻‍♀️ this is our fault! 😬

But I answered "Illinois", so it was half-right lol) and I never really studied American history/geography. And why do they always answer a random country in the Civil War question? @Mikey DJ You shoudn't think that way. Generational distinctions are more about "common interests" and "world views" and other such things. "Acting GenZ" doesn't mean "acting stupid". Acting "of a generation" is about your general mindset. And how similar it may be to people near your age. People who may be on the "generation border" will either side as Millenial or GenZ depending on which makse more sence to them. And there are plenty of uneducated people from all generations out there that you can use as examples in a video like this.
