Another incredible video from Justin. Can you believe how many people don't know what continent they are on right now? Or who the US got their independence from? Someone thought this country was founded in the 1920s and nobody knows math. Wild times... Make sure you guys give Justin a follow, he's a super smart up-and-comer. This was a great collab, follow him, he's the man! Please leave us a super thanks, we are gonna split them!

Nonsense Idea. Intelligence test it should be. Globally! And also no voting before the age of 25. before 25 99.99% of people are morons. Noone DUMB or NOT understanding whats going on should be allowed to vote. If someone watches CNN thats basically a K.O criteria. If someone thinks any place in Europe has socialism they are also disqualified for being idiots because Europe does not have socialism. Half of it HAD it and ALL of that half HATES IT! Also socialism does not work in real life without killing everybody that wants freedom. People are not identical robots and the ELITE and LOBBYISM is the only thing that does well in socialism. Like basically everything those anti-capitalist fools hate (who btw have no clue what capitalism is) is WORSE in communism. Social Market Economy is CAPITALISM. Thats what Germany has for example. And btw I am from Europe. I speak 5 languages.

@Header_Guard “universal suffrage for white men” was basically the outcome of the Revolutionary War. Declaration of Independence => War with England => Articles of Confederation, which didn’t last long, then Continental Congress and US Constitution. The Constitution provided for voting for all citizens (which was then understood to mean male citizens who were not slaves). Then of course voting rights extended when slavery was ended (1860s) and again to women in 1920.

Probably NOTHING: AI and its Impact on Society Oct 31, 2023 We must ask ourselves, "What will happen when AI has taken 85% of jobs present today? What will we do? How will we eat and survive without incomes from jobs or other means?" What is disturbing is that while AI is taking these jobs, the gov't and the corporations have not done ANYTHING to prepare us for an AI'ed civilization. They have not said anything about major retraining of an entire economy to something else, and they have not followed up on a discussion of universal basic income. It appears that the US gov't and the corporations intend to kill off the majority of Americans passively, through starvation from lack of income to buy food. (check and see if farming production is declining or will start to decline ahead of the "starvation phase") (also check to see if the "makeup" of robot equipment allocation would change to reflect a trend away from retail and services for the masses, possibly indicating an extinction of the American public - this means taking a robot from Chipotle and repurposing it for some other job not related to the public, or scrapping affected robots to be remade for some other purpose that has nothing to do with the public) This way, there are only enough people alive to get some things done, and the rest is done by AI, and the survivors who planned this can claim the whole country for themselves. Imagine having an estate mansion half the size of a mall on several dozen thousand acres of land, and robots would be used to maintain and clean the estates and do the farming FOR THE ESTATE OWNERS. The White Man's wet dream of civilization. What will the Native Americans south of the US border do when they see this coming?

@@Skullview666 Amount is not acceptable. Number is used for things that can be counted, while amount is used for things that cannot be counted. So number is used when counting individual units of something and amount is used collectively indicating mass, like as an overall measurement when not individually. If you gave everyone in a group of ten people a pint of beer, then the number of people given a beer would be ten, but the amount of beer given out would be ten pints. You should not say the amount of people given a beer was ten, nor should you say the number of beer was ten pints when it is the amount of beer was ten pints, although you can say the number of beers given out was ten because that accounts for individual units. So the number of people is correct and not the amount of people.

I was born and grew up in the States. I went to grade school, high school and then to Purdue University where I earned a BS in microbiology. At age 26 I left the States for good and moved to Europe. Within a few months I realized that I was at a great disadvantage there because everyone else my age knew a great deal more than I did and could clearly think more analytically and critically. It took me 7 years to get my PhD in biological cybernetics, catching up in the meantime on civil and social education, geography and other areas of general knowledge as well as learning to speak and write German. The first time I returned to the States on a lecture tour I went to Harvard to give a lecture. A British friend and colleague was lecturer there and he told me that the first weeks of teaching grad students was filled with teaching them to write a proper English sentence. I see education failing world wide, especially in countries with strong conservative, nationalistic voters. One of these voters told me that educating people was not a good idea because it made them liberal. I had no idea what to say about that.

I'm the opposite. Millenial though, class of '007, guess what our theme was. My peers were so lazy the teachers decided passing meant showing up for class, not turning in half the assignments and failing the rest, then failing a senior project but presenting why you didn't complete it meant you get to graduate. They are incentivized to get kids out of the system, and are willing to corrupt a diploma so those kids who didn't bother learning squat can still get a job. It really bites for those of us who did put in the effort and still passed with flying colors, but hey, not like adults ever listened to kids anyway. They know what's best and we just get to deal, even when we're all competing in the same job market before college and we all have a diploma, which means we're all equal smh. And yes, the kids who never bothered to learn the difference between an adjective, noun and verb but stayed in school graduated.

Like if you ask an 18 year old to do some research on Google, Bing, whatever about a certain subject they could probably find that information faster than a 60 year old. But a 60 year old is more likely to actually remember that information and not have to use a search engine as often. People under 30 are basically lost without technology.

These people won't be able to compete in a global economy, nor are they willing to do any blue collar tradework. We might actually face complete societal collapse once Gen X and millennials start to retire. We had college interns at work this past year and I legitimately thought they were handicapped for the first few weeks. I just assumed they were part of a special needs program or something until they started talking about their majors. They couldn't use a desktop computer, couldn't take/transfer calls, couldn't even shred documents properly. I'm not even that old, I'm 28 and it's crazy to see how fast the education system has been degraded. Maybe it's just my state (Cali), I don't know man.

Well, NOW, perhaps, Jake Phillips, but I missed out on that advantage. I'll be 80 before the end of the year. When the decline of the United States and the rest of Western civilization was newer and not yet so alarming-I think it began in about 1963-older American job seekers were ignored because job providers were then mostly concerned that they would make them look bad. Because I can lay my hands on it, my favorite example of decline in Western civilization is a thirty-year-old English book from Oxford University Press that says something is amiss with the sentences "Is a bank near here?" and "In the kitchen is a table." Poppycock, balderdash, and nonsense, and standards are even lower today. I regularly see evidence that adult Americans today cannot compose the simplest sentences without looking like 1955's sixth graders, or worse. Even responses to this video include samples of substandard spelling, punctuation, and grammar, and I take no pleasure in noting the fact; Western civilization does have enemies! I had to leave the States in May 2001 to find work, and I'm still gone. I never made enough money to live there today on my Social Security.

And the video jumps between the same few selected people to make it feel like there are a lot more. The real question is, how many people did he have to go through to find this small number of people. Catch people off guard, I can guarantee there are people I could find who won't be able to answer those questions from those born in 1971. The one kid is Jewish. Depending on what school he falls under, he might not know in general. A lot of groups are diverse and can work like most other people. But there are also groups that don't allow for anything then their own way of life. Living and breathing the study of Hebrew. In which they become leaders of their communities. There is a community that is not too far from me, on occasion, I have spoke to them, and they almost always were extremely curious because they don't follow the same way of life like most Americans. There were also kids that I knew growing up that studied the language and culture but not to the extent of the Ultras. Those regular kids went to public school like everyone else but had to take night classes to learn their side.

It's really a shame and y'all wanna be the greatest? The greatest failure of times maybe, that's it!

@@iR0CKt Hearing just some stupid answers does not tell a lot about the average knowledge. How many people did he need to ask to find these brains? But generally I would agree that today´s graduates in most western countries do have a poorer level of education compared with previuous decades - this is kind of an affluent neglect. This is a pretty good chance for asian (and maybe in the future also african) countries to get economically stronger.

Cavemen were smarter than these kids, so don't drag innocent cavemen into the discussion please ;). Think about it, the cavemen had to solve problems every day to survive. No farming, no relying on wellfare, no guns to hunt with. They had to learn to trap and catch wild animals, which is not as easy as one might think.

When 90% of the students go to schools that have virtually no economic incentive to provide a good product, then it can't be unexpected for the classrooms to be little more than holding cells. Imagine if swimming instructors couldn't be fired, penalized or disincentivized for "graduating" students who drown.

Dude...I GET WHAT YOU MEAN. Like...why arent there more surveys online where people are getting the right answer? What was the sample size? How did he go about choosing people and how does he know his samples were unbiased? How many videos were taken of people who had the right answer but he never put those up? This fake news shit has me really questioning things...like..what if theres a secret plot to make us think the world is actually dumber than it is so that everyone feels comfortable in their own perception of reality that actual reality is affected adversely? Kind of like a self fullfilling prophecy? Is anyone else here following me?
