I'm from New Zealand and thankfully things are quite different. Watching these videos are an eye opener. It appears that in the eyes of most law enforcement officers in America that everyone is a criminal until proven innocent!! And it appears they love issuing tickets for nothing.revenue gathering seems to be the main agenda of the POLICE..

We have a great city protected by good cops who didn't fall for the trap, that's why BAT was so angry about being followed. Of course the police will arrest BAT the first opportunity he gives them which includes hindering access to the gates, but BAT is too smart for this which is good for all of us. Pretty stupid thing for management to put the plain clothes officer on the line with the obvious street smart thug knowing better. The cops should have left him alone keeping watch on him until he was done masturbating for the camera and let him be on his way.

This is absolutely infuriatingly ridiculous and unacceptable. Between all those officers pay and gas, I wonder how much tax payer money was wasted to follow a guy with a camera around for hours. They obviously knew you weren’t a threat, they were following you out of pure pettiness, ego, and pride.

The best part is that while they’re sitting around following you, they’re not giving out tickets

@@askmeif That situation wouldn't go down the way you think it would. I think you should ask your local DA about the state's official stance on vigilantism. They will tell you that vigilantes are a serious threat to public safety, while auditors are just a nuisance exercising their rights. You'd be forcing the Roseville PD to defend the auditor or risk losing their own jobs by breaking their sworn oath to the public. The cops wouldn't be on your side.

Given your talent, I humbly suggest you begin giving talks to the public watching when the cops are standing around you. Allow me to explain my thought. There are times when they are acting the most petty. Unless they are freaking, it is when they are following you or standing around you. At these times, I suggest you begin painting a picture for the audience who might not fully get this. Paint the picture of how the cops see the public in general - we are beneath them. The law is what they say. We are their enemy. There are new, uninformed citizens catching your videos. When the cops show their disdain, paint the picture for us while they stand there. Your talent for rhetoric is strong. Basically let them hear you explain how they see you through their eyes. They hate us. That's the key part I see missing. Keep it up man!

I watched this when it came out and now re-watching it again. I wanted to share a story. About 17 years ago I was on parole in Placer County "Roseville" I was doing everything right and turning my life around. Roseville PD use to follow me around and pull me over all the time. One day when it got really bad they pulled me over on my way from picking my daughter up from kindergarten. It was raining out, they put me in back of cop car, searching my car they left all the doors and trunk open getting soaking wet from rain. They found a Airborne container the disolvable stuff you take for colds. They tried telling me it tested positive for meth. I knew there was no possible way. They let there k9 completely tear up my car and they also broke things and ripped my seats. This went on for over an hour making me late to get my daughter. I was so pissed off. They finally let me go after talking shit and making me feel like trash. When I got home I called the Chief to complain. This was the chiefs exact words to me. "You are a piece of shit parolee you have no rights, if you want to make this an issue we will make sure you go back to prison for along time". I have completely turned my life around all the years later and still get scared and nervous when having to interact with any law enforcement. Roseville PD are tyrants at least back then I'm sure not much has changed

It is a good opportunity for them to practice their skills of covert surveillance. Looks like they need a lot more practice.

Nothing looks more like an undercover cop than an undercover cop

We were all six year olds at one point, and we all probably threatened another six year old by saying something like "If you cross this line, you're gonna get it!". Most of us eventually grew up, and realized that making threats like this simply makes us look like idiots, and so we stopped doing it. Then there are our "police", that never grew up, and dole out these threats of violence just like a six year old. The problem is that these public servant children have guns and badges, so their threats are terroristic, and violate federal law. Until we defund and replace the FBI, we have no way to hold these felons in police costumes accountable, and defunding/replacing the FBI will be a huge undertaking, so we must defund and replace all LEO organizations in order to create the actual, accountable law enforcement we require - then it's the FBI's turn.

No, not really...we as a people must require accountability from the police. Tailing an OBVIOUS 1st amendment auditor is NOT getting your money worth. The people in these towns need to contact their mayors/city councils, etc. and DEMAND they stop wasting tax dollars doing this type of useless activity.

@Billy William Robert A. Heinlein said "an armed society is a polite society. Manners are good when one may have to back up his actions with his life" I believe police ARE necessary because they DO patrol the streets and are more mobile than I or you would be. But unless they are actually there when needed, you are on your own. That is the difference that makes people more polite.

They spent their lives hating themselves and openly gay and people's freedoms, in resentment, trying to drink it away.

no to defending the PD .. Set new standards as agreed upon by the contract with the city and make LEO's pay for their own liability insurance and remove their imunity and let them fire themselves and after they are off the job fill their shoes with higher iq non military personel that are trained in policy and THE LAW and these morons will fire themselves and there will be no job for them to run off to another state and do the same shit..Should be country wide standards!!
