This auditor needs to learn the law better. Yes, he knows it better than the cops, but he doesn't know it well enough to educate them. He needs to cite Terry vs Ohio. He needs to tell them that he can't be detained without reasonable suspicion of A CRIME.

@@interestedparty00 You don't honestly think that would have helped him out in this situation, do you? A tyrant, like these cops, don't give a shit what a low-down, no-good citizen says. That is exactly what they think of citizens. Especially the homeless. They see them as nobodies, a pawn in this game they are playing with this guy. I have yet to see a cop listen to a citizen and then actually change their minds about how they are treating someone.

Remind the cops that they have lost their qualified immunity by violating your constitutional rights. There is nothing to prosecute and they will settle the lawsuit for a handsome sum. They will be very happy to surrender a large part of their pensions. You got all of it both on your camera and on their body cameras.

It’s what they do to you when they get you alone in a cell that worse. I was hammered by 2 cops in a cell. I’m 6ft & was homeless living in the streets for almost 2 years after I lost my job as accountant when the firm folded after directors retired. It was a family business & the fathers had already built up the biggest property devolving company in the U.K. & sold it, then kept subsidiaries going to make their kids & grandkids millionaires. Once they’d got them all set for life they ceased trading. My relationship ended, my parents are dead, I’ve no close family & couldn’t keep dissing on mates sofas, especially when they had children. So I ended up on the streets. I come from a town where the industry is decimated & there are no jobs except zero hour contracts in a warehouse, which screws your benefit claim. It’s a vicious cycle. Can’t get a job without an address, get enrolled with an agency where your lucky to work 3-4 hrs a week & screw your benefits up & who can live on less than £6 an hour, £18-£24? I was arrested, roughed up, put in a cell & forgotten about. When they walked past I ran my mouth & they came in & battered me. I asked fir a doctor, whom appeared 3-4 hours later. When the warder came & took me to the doctors room, I removed my shirt as I walked in the door. The doctor couldn’t look me in the face. He had a sheet with an outline of a male body on, & detailed ALL of my injuries. They took me back to my cell & I stated that I wanted to make a complaint for brutality numerous times. I was released within an hour WITHOUT charge. I asked to see the Chirf Inspector & was told he was unavailable come back tomorrow at 2pm, which I did. They kept me waiting almost 3 hours & told me he’d left. I went back again & again & never saw him, as he had always left, was on holiday, off sick or in a meeting. I went to see a solicitor, one of the best in the town that someone in the cell opposite to me the day I was beaten gave me the name of. She said that the police take “claims/allegations” very seriously, the officers would be suspended or be stuck behind a desk until the outcome, however their friends & colleagues will be pissed off, & WILL go all out for me. She said that they’d harass me at any & every opportunity, detain me, park outside where I was staying to wait for me, stop & search me every time they’d me, take me into the station fir drug searches (strip searches ect) she stated it will get bad, very bad & advises me to drop it. I saw a different solicitor some other criminal gave me the name of, & was told the same thing. I heard they’re all Freemasons whom drink & party together. The same solicitors sit in front of the same JPs, & magistrates day in day out, dealing with the sane officers as witnesses in court. It’s a joke. That’s our judicial system at work. It’s just a fake to them, that they get very highly paid fir playing. The crown courts work exactly the same, they’re just more highly educated & get paid more. I actually studied common law as part of my accountancy qualifications, but not in-depth enough to become a solicitor. Wish I’d gone into law instead. A guy I knew whilst homeless & I used to see in town when I was a teen whom was schizophrenic & homeless was arrested one night a couple of years later. He went into the cells in perfect health & left on a stretcher deceased. He had no family either, & as the police investigate themselves, there was no evidence of any wrongdoing. There was no one to fight for him. The only way these tyrant wannabe Gestapo will learn is by being sued at any & every opportunity. Videos may highlight the issues but it’s when it costs the city money that things will change. If they have to keep settling claims eventually insurance companies will stop paying out, or their premiums will be so expensive the police won’t have the budget. Surely it works on the save principal as motor insurance, home insurance & public liability insurance. The more you claim the more expensive it becomes. Get a drunk driving conviction & most companies won’t even cover you. The ones that will charge exorbitant sums for the privilege. Here in the U.K. there’s a youtuber called Crimebodge whom assists people with cases against the police. He’s just a normal citizen whom has studied the law as a hobby & understands the process, one doesn’t need an expensive solicitor to file a claim against the police. Isn’t there someone similar in the US, whom can advise on the procedure & forms required ect to bring a claim against the police? If people just record & don’t file cases nothing will change. The police will just get more underhanded. The police that beat me badly in the cells that night are the dna police that are responsible for the unlawful deaths of 97 Liverpool FC supporters @ Hillsborough. They had the audacity to blame the victims themselves for their own deaths, committed perjury on many occasions, even numerous times in court, filed false statements, made false allegations, lies through their teeth @ every opportunity & NOT one has lost their job, resigned or will face prosecution. Sorry, the chief inspector did eventually retire so he could keep his pension & to make the case go away to save the police further embarrassment. The compensation case is still on going I believe. If any civilian had behaved like the police did in the Hillsborough case they would be in prison facing years inside. Why aren’t the Gestapo acting thugs? Because they investigate themselves & are beyond reproach. The save laws don’t apply to them unless it’s stealing, rape, drug dealing or selling firearms. The polices own website of cops sacked or prosecuted for crimes in the U.K. makes interesting reading.

Personally I don't think I could do what you do, but I've learned a great deal about practical application of the laws and constitutionally protected rights that we so willing give up due to inexperience or simply not knowing. constitutionally In summary, this video inspired me to comment due to impersonating a homeless citizen in the United States. Very interesting indeed... how the tables so quickly turned. Keep up the good work -- there will be people that get upset or suspicious of a camera, hell I would've been the same way before educating myself through these audits. I understand my rights a tremendous amount more while also not feeling suspicious of a person with a camera at the post-office. I'm more educated and prepared for either side of an encounter due to your sacrifices and time. I appreciate the risk and frustration you voluntarily submit yourself to in order to educate all of us. Auditors who don't follow up with legal actions are like cops who catches criminals and lets them go after catching them. Useless. Not having the funds for a lawsuit when you enter these type of activities are like going to war without any weapons and hope for the best. Just exposing these bastards has been done to death.
