i think the KFC Jack Harlow meal has been the best one for 2 reasons: - yeah, it’s a basic meal and doesn’t have a toy… BUT, the cup has a really cool animated Jack Harlow face on it. I’m sure all these other meals have some sort of branding but this one specifically stands out above the rest. - it actually makes sense! Jack is from Kentucky and is super proud of it, always raps about and reps Louisville everywhere he goes!

it’s so funny at the time of you posting this video , Mc Donalds just came out with an adult happy meal with all the old characters as toys 😭

as a canadian i feel the need to mention that tim hortons had a celebrity cameo in 2021 with justin bieber. they renamed timbits (donut holes) to "tim biebs" and slapped on an extra topping or two. they also had merch to go along with it - my friend's family got her the tim biebs fanny pack, our friend group thought it was cute and silly especially because of the name (tim biebs...). they also came out with a new bieber cameo "biebs brew" (french vanilla cold brew). people were pretty hyped about it the first time around and it got super popular, not sure how its doing this year since i dont really keep up with that sort of stuff. great video by the way!

I remember for the release of Red (taylor’s version) there was a collab with starbucks where you would ask for “Taylor’s order” and apparently they only played her music that day. there wasn’t anything special though, they would just write her name. what’s weird is I don’t remember Taylor ever promoting it?? like starbucks and her brand did, but it did strike me as odd she didn’t say anything to push it.

Don't forget the Kid Laroi meal us aussies got which is a cheeseburger meal with no pickles, frozen coke and 6pc nuggets with bbq sauce! pretty cool packaging but that's about it

the sauce that came with the bts meal was actually two sauces that aren't usually on the menu, one was a sauce that they only had for a limited time a while ago that they brought back and the other was a new sauce made specifically for the bts meal (the cajun sauce and the sweet chili sauce) i think both of these things made the meal popular with people who aren't even fans since there were people who got the meal for the sauces because they missed the sweet chili sauce or wanted to try the cajun sauce. the bts meal also came with special packaging on everything including the bag, the sauces, the cup, the french fry holder thing, and the box for the chicken nuggets. although the US didn't have all the special packaging they only had the bag and the sauces. some people mentioned that bts should have done a burger similar to other celebrities that just had a special twist to it but beef is not halal and they wanted their muslim fans to be able to eat it too. actually on the mcdonald's website right now the graphic they show for the bts meal says "halal" on it :) honestly i was a little disappointed that the US didn't have all the special packaging and i initially wished they included something fun in the bts meal like toys based on BT21 (LINE characters they designed) or photo cards but i honestly think it would have been a bad idea because the demand would just be too high for mcdonald's to handle especially because scalpers will often buy bts merch (especially limited editions) and resell it for way more.

The only celebrity meal I’ve ever tried is the BTS one because that came with something new at least. The sweet chili sauce did not taste very good and you would be much better off just buying actual sweet chili sauce you can get from the store. The Cajun sauce was good, but nothing crazy.

a huge part of the travis meal for me was that it was significantly cheaper than getting a normal bacon quarter pounder meal and it also put me on to fries in bbq sauce

KFC Italy actually tried to do a celebrity meal here, partnering with the super controversial and loved/hated trapper Sfera ebbasta, and a whole media storm ensued. He was heavily critized for trying to be the Italian Travis Scott, the food was apparently really bad and of awful quality, and at the time he was in the media spotlight due to an incident during one of his concerts where several fans died, so everything that he would say and do was heavily scrutinized and looked at in a bad light. We didn't have a single celebrity meal after that. Thank God.

I think we won't have other celebrity meals both because we have 3 major fast food chains (compared to usa, which has like 30 different chains) and there aren't singers or bands that have a huge success here. Remember Sfera? Everyone who listened to trap/rap was crazy for him, and even who didn't listen to the genre knew some of his songs. (Btw, i tried his menu 'cause my brother wanted to and honestly it was not that bad. Sure, it was fast food quality, but not terrible)

​@@mat_2257 tbh the incident was the venue's fault, not his. They went way above maximum capability to make more money, and when a bunch of teenagers started pepper spraying random people, many fans got trampled to death as they were attempting to escape.

At least BTS meal had a special sauce. That's SOMETHING.

In Aus we had The Kid Laroi meal which as far as I remember was literally just a cheeseburger meal with the Pickle removed (maybe some nuggets too idk)

I worked at dunkin when the charlie drink got popular, it was caramel cold brew with cream, no sugar besides the caramel. These 12 year olds and their parents would pull up and ask for a charlie drink, like girl you are not going to enjoy this drink at all, the caramel and cream does not change how bitter cold brew is

I'm pretty sure Beast Burger had a rocky start because out-sourcing your food to individual stores means the people were used to a certain menu but had to learn a whole new one. So in the beginning there were definitely mistakes but I am pretty sure its been ironed out.

I'm vegan (I can literally only eat the apples and pop D:. The fries in American McDonald's are made with beef tallow.) and I still use the app because I'm a diet coke addict theirs is the best lol. But then I found out you can't get pop with your points!!! So I just let non-vegans use my points lol.

As an athlete we eat fast food but you can't just eat whatever you want. Salt and processed carbs for every meal will kill anyone. I do often need dense carbs and fat and protein, and I could probably eat McDonald's once a week and not have it negatively impact my health.
