It’s laminate like a Formica product. It’s got a plastic feel and is attached to particle board.

Hi, thanks for video. Does the liquid sandpaper need to be wiped off before you apply the paint, I had read where it needs to be wiped off before you apply primer, any suggestions? Or once liquid sandpaper dries is there no need to wipe off? Thanks a bunch

This has to have solvent properties, so no, I wouldn't. This is a good place to use rags cut up from old ragged clothing that can be disposed of after use.

Was this surface which you treated, previously urethaned or varnished ? I have a project with a glossy surface which I believe is polyurethaned, and I would like to prepare it for primer and paint.

Looks like it did nothing, maybe a one pass with 220 grit and wipe off the dust. Looks like a useless gimmick to me

I just used it for a mantle in my living room that I didn't want to take down and sand. It made the surface noticeably rougher and it will hold paint much better. Yes, sanding works, too. This is just an alternative, but it's not a gimmick.

I bought this thinking it would remove paint. What a waste of money.
