    @@universezero2590 Yes, it still works for me. It has become a lifestyle. No, I did not cut out red meats or dairy. I just increased my intake of leafy greens. I have a green smoothie everyday and some sort of greens with dinner daily. To be fair, I have never consumed massive amounts of red meats. The other thing that really helps is doing some form of cardio; not yoga or pilates, but fast walking or running.

    Yep! Happen to me. The evil Dr I was seeing never checked my iron. I got so sick ended up in hospital multiple times, high bp and heart rate..developed severe anxiety and ptsd. Went to naturalpathic dr and she diag me instantly and labs confirmed it. Had severe clotting and bleeding until my iron levels increased. As pls don't go by the stand ferritin level of 15-280, the range is too wide. Low ferrritin is only going to address the vital organs first, you will probably experience fatigue, coldness,etc. A good level would be 55-100. Can't believe I'm learning this vital information at 48. Most women are suffering bc the doctors are ignorant and system is purposely designed that way so the can pump you up with synthetic drugs or/and remove organs unnessarily.

    I don’t have heavy periods but I’m noticing I’m getting intense headaches the day of or when I’m coming off my period. Sometimes they’re unbearable. What can I do to prevent it? I didn’t use to have that problem. Also, I can no longer eat dairy when on my period as it causes severe cramping. I never use to have that problem either. Is something wrong? ☹️

    Cold water helps with headaches. Have you tried Naproxene? seems to work wonder. Also, eat less meat. more green and iron rich foods - spinach, chickpeas, etc. Try molasses with/without red leaf raspberry tea. hmmm...that's all i can think of right now. my last two periods have been like heaven - and it hasn't been this way for id say at least 10+ years. idk what i did. my diet was trash this month so im waiting to see how it will affect this upcoming period.

    Ms Chantaé Thank you for the info!!! I have tried Naproxene but I’m trying to stay away from pills. ☹️ I haven’t tried raspberry tea though, I’ll look into it. Usually I’ll drink ginger tea & it helps a bit. I also take magnesium & iron as well & I have noticed improvement. I’ll also look into molasses, had no idea that helps w cramping. 😁 Thx so much for this bcz sometimes I had to stay home from work since my head & cramps were so bad.

    If u have thyroid problems see a endocrinologist they can do better tests etc the a family doctor

  • @NaturalHealthResources

    @NaturalHealthResources

    Жыл бұрын

    Doctors may order one or more blood tests to check your thyroid function. Tests may include thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH), T4, T3, and thyroid antibody tests. Thyroid blood tests check your thyroid function. For these tests, a health care professional will draw blood from your arm and send it to a lab for testing.

    @@NaturalHealthResources my PCP only test t4 and t3 I believe and say my thyroid is fine. However, lm always cold and my eyebrows are thinning and I have low energy. My iron is low but he says not that low for concern meanwhile I had to get him to do my ferritin which was extremely low for which he has never addressed. I believe I might have an interactive thyroid. I may need to ask him for referral to an endocrinologist who maybe able to help me better.

    I see the progesterone cream is soy-based, does that not increase breast cancer risk?

  • @kennishajones1

    Excellent question. Soy contain phyto-estrogens that have been shown to bind weakly to estrogen receptors and out compete exogenous estrogens. Phyto-estrogens are protective against breast cancer.

    Absolutely right! If you have hyperthyroidism, it's generally advised to avoid iodine supplements. High levels of iodine might exacerbate thyroid issues in individuals with hyperthyroidism.
