Thank you Lorraine. I did not manage to catch the mouse but it did die between the floor boards. A few weeks later I had a fly infestation in the house. I gave up counting dead 🪰 after 2oo. Every day I sealed my bedroom after spraying fly spray and Every night I counted them before vacuuming them all up ! Hard to beat nature !!!

I was just asking myself why in the heck this video would ever have to be made, and then I seen your comment Marian…And then I asked my Wife if she knew how. As if I insulted her she responded NO! You do that! And then I showed her your comment. We both agreed that this is exactly why KZread comes in handy. Anyways,We also lost a very close family member so we both want to let you know we are sorry for your loss. We also have Furlong family members across the pond, which is why your comment caught my eye. Godbless you,and take care . ❤️

So, just successfully set my first mouse trap!! This video made me feel more confident in what to do for sure! Although of the 4 traps I set, one of them the bar wouldn’t reach the latch without me bending the bait pad some and it’s definitely elevated more than it should be now. But I think that’s either something I’m missing or a victor error.

@Jose B they LOVE in-between the stove top and the oven. It's pre-made home for the little suckered. Insulated and never gets hot... if they have moved in there, you have to super sanitize in there, as roden urine and feces carry nasty bugs that can make you very sick. Learned that one the hard way sadly....

Is there a way to make the trap more sensitive? I did exactly what you had instructed and the mouse was able to lick the peanut butter off the trap without setting it off.

Maybe put less peanut butter, or whatever. Not such a hunk. I live in a college town and I believe these mice are educated. I basically have a museum of various traps. These plain ones usually work best. Was afraid to set them until this video.

If you can set one in one second, you should call Guiness. I bet it would be a record. 👍👍👍

I still have no idea. The latch goes over the spring, but how do you get it to latch?

Hey Lou! Did you used to be on a weekend show on 670 The Score or maybe it was 720 WGN radio. in Chicago? Something like Mr Fix It. I used to listen to you all the time giving advice to homeowners and I have learned so much listening to you.
