i laughed when i set some of these newer mousetraps... the weakest springs on them i think i've ever seen! the ones back in the day you didn't have to worry about the trigger because they just went off if you breathed on em! had to almost set them AFTER you placed the trap on the ground because they were so sensitive they'd go off just trying to put the thing in place!

PRS shooters setting mouse traps be like:

There’s a vid of someone sticking their finger in a big rat trap and it didn’t even effect him so really don’t worry about getting yourself with them it won’t do damage

If you're careful you can use pliers and squeeze that metal tab in a little so there's also less to grab

I would prefer a Humane mouse trap over one of those it seems hypocritical to worry about your sensitive fingers Imagine One how hard that is for the mouse

@@penguinton7691 Live traps! I had a mild mouse problem last summer and you just need basic live traps that have food in one end and a trap door on the other. They push in the door to get the food and can’t get out. Then you can release them afterwards! Or kill them, whatever you choose. (I live near the woods so i released them)
