This is a fabulous video, I prefer the plastic mouse trap, because it is easy for me!

I'm sure you read this after so long but you helped me in a huge way. I just had trouble with mice and a friend helped me set them up. I forgot the part about moving the yellow piece so I couldn't set them. I just had a mouse show up after a few months of none so I chose to look it up. I knew they had to work somehow. THANK YOU!!

How ironic I went to Walmart and bought that specific mousetrap and I happened to look for someone to explain to me how to use one so I can't hear and I want to let you know I really appreciate you taking the time to show us exactly what to do because this mouse has to go

SNAP! These traps drive me nuts but work amazing! Sometimes I have had to bend the wire just slightly as it will not set.

Thank you kindly, these plastic Victors are so finicky, I honestly believe I may have run into a bad batch, might dremel a deeper groove on it... Its not rocket apliances and I understand HOW to set it... yet not working so hot... Thanks for letting me share!

Thanks for the info. My fingers prefer the older Victor traps. Those yellow pads are a pain to set although you make it look pretty easy.

I noticed your not wearing gloves. Many suggest to wear them so you don’t contaminate the trap with your scent. What are your thoughts on that? Thanks

Spot on with baiting. Next step is hunting the mouse. Were ever you saw the mouse he was traveling to or from food. So think, were is the food . Place the trap a bit out of sight but in the path it might take. I got pretty good at this one winter and trapped 82 mice. I fired the cat. It doesnt hurt if your finger smell like peanut butter while handling the trap. And I never use a trap twice..Rodents can smell the death. Traps are cheap
