A huge thumb up for yet another great video. Keep it up! I am a big fan of your channel, and after watching the great content you upload, I became a DIY mechanic of my Dodge GC. Now, I have a question about this car: here in Europe there is quite a few of them on the roads. As you can imagine, most of them (if not all) were imported from US or Canada after being bought on Copart or IAAI auctions. This means they were damaged at some point in the past, as any other scenario would not be economically beneficial to the European user. Now, I have seen quite a lot of DGS and ChrysT&C's here without an engine undertray / shield. Mine came also from US without this engine undertray. Is it on purpose, or did it get lost in the accident? Do DGC's and Chrysler T&C's in America have this undertray? I do not know whether I should look for one in the aftermarket (or a non-genuine one), or is it better to leave it like that. On the one hand, winter is harsh here and in snowy conditions road authorities throw salt on the roads, on the other hand I heard people say that 62TE transmission is underdimensioned for this vehicle and heats up, and actually it would really need an additional radiator, so you'd better leave it without a tray at least for the summer, so as not to boil the ATF+4 ...Thanks in advance for any insight!

Thank you for your support and glad you are finding our video's helpful! Yes, the engine undertray's do indeed exist, but many are removed along the way (not an exclusive thing for Dodge/Chysler - many garages seem to remove and not refit them for some reason!!) I'd recommend leaving them on, especially here in Canada (and it sounds like where you are located also) where there's a lot of cold weather and the roads are salted. The oil and transmission pans get very grotty quicly when exposed to all that salt!! Best of luck! --- To help support us (for both you and others reading this) there are a few things you can do: 1) Donations both needed and welcome! I was just wanting to do this not long ago because I also want to see if there is something loose under the front part of my car where the front tiers are it sounds like a rattle/or wobble like something is loose what could that be? Would love to hear your thoughts help!! I'm a single women/mother and I fix my own car issues to save money if I can and your videos are very very helpful I am very handy as well so that makes it easier. Thank you for all of your videos!!!!

Glad you are enjoying the video's! Your rattle could be any number of different things. If it's a general rattle check the engine undertray and surround covers that connect into the wheel arches etc. Just give everything a bit of a wobble by hand, it should be relatively easy to find that way. FWD: Crossover or X: What method is recommended, or should you alternate them each time?

For Front Wheel Drive the two common options (as in the video) are the Forward Cross or the X-Pattern. You can use either at your own preference. It's nice to have an option to choose between, and when you inspect your tires it may point you towards using one over the other. For example, if you find the two tires on one side of the car are wearing a little faster than the two tires on the opposite side, then the X-Pattern would be good as this swaps the sides, whereas Forward Cross swaps sides only for the rear wheels. So, you can use either and make the decision when you inspect your tires, and if the wear is pretty even on all four corners then use whichever you prefer. Hope that helps! :-) --- To help support us (for both you and others reading this) there are a few things you can do: 1) Donations both needed and welcome!
