Great video, perfectly explained 👍🏻👍🏻
Just had to have a new transmission installed in my 70k mile 2018 caravan. I’ll be changing the fluid every 30k to prevent it from happening again.
This really helped my dad thank you for making these videos!!
Thank you for this info! But i do have a question for owner or anyone who can assist lol , around 0:52 it was pointed that airflow goes from "here to the throttle body". There's a little pcv hoseline to the right of the throttle and left of the mass airflow sensor (basically in the middle of the two lol). What is this pcv hoseline called and where it connects to from the top? I'm trying to replace this for my 2016 GC but cant seem to know the name and where it gets connected on the back side. Thanks!!!
The problem I have is the brake light don’t come on and the turn signal goes fast, also the eco mode doesn’t come on
No need for Rtv silicone ?
Excellent video. Well explained. Thank you.
Thank you so much. Easy to follow and overall a great video.
Stuck Open: the hose feels warmer as your engine warms Stuck close: the hose wont warm Normal Operation: from cold to red hot
If I ever have to replace my water pump on my minivan, I'm going to reference this video. Amazing work!
Didn't explain s*** about the transmission I still can't figure out where I'm supposed to put fluid
You might find our Transmission Fluid change video for the Grand Caravan useful: kzread.info/dash/bejne/hJhhxMmHibnRlto.html 👍👍
Very good content, thank you.
Glad you liked it!
If the sway bars are original then you may as well replace them too. Here in the Rust Belt, they have to be cut off anyway
Top radiator hose very hot car overheating still. Bad water pump?
Does the vehicle have to be running ?
No, the engine should be off 👍
Always well done videos
Glad you like them! 👍
Thank you very much. Easy to follow. Saved me some cash $$$. Fixed it in about 10 minutes. Greatly appreciated!

Good video --- Quick easy and straight forward
Glad you enjoyed it 👍
Not a fan of those rubber gaskets that come with aftermarket filter kits. They are garbage, and start leaking after 15-20k miles. Much prefer to use a quality RTV that's transmission fluid rated. Otherwise solid video.
Thank you for sharing your experiences 👍
My son has just bought on of these. He has quite a complex central locking problem on his Peugeot Partner van. My daughter has a high mileage Peugeot Partner Tippee car, which I am sure will throw up quite a few error codes. I have a Vauxhall (Opel) Zafira (General Motors) 2014. I have an engine management light on, which I want to turn off. I have have just had the battery replaced. Halfords were amazingly incompetent. I would be interested to see how the alternator is charging. Have they sold me a second hand battery?
Have 2015 town an country, on the front side of battery I have two large fuse holders that are rubber and run too positive side of battery, but there are no fuses in them , holders look to be two inches wide.
if i changed my rear brakes and calipers should i bleed all 4 brakes?
Thank you for your video! It is very helpful!

I have dual pistons in the front but the heavy duty brakes I bought for the rear are too big for the calliper bracket! 2016 Grand Caravan
That is strange! Do you think maybe someone changed the rear brakes previously and fitted standard calipers during a full caliper/rotor/pad change? I've seen that happen before, not too uncommon. The rear calipers SHOULD be heavy duty ones on your car, and would have been from factory, which is why I'm thinking someone may have swapped back to standard (both fit physically). 👍
Forgot to mention: there is a difference between the heavy duty and standard rear calipers. If you look at the caliper bracket itself (not the caliper) on the heavy duty both arms are perfectly straight. You can see this at 21:00 in this video: kzread.info/dash/bejne/i5dpyMego7LYmM4.html - whereas on the standard rear caliper bracket the arms are curved, as you can see at 12:00 in this video: kzread.info/dash/bejne/e2iWksyqYZawiLA.html So you will be able to tell which you have. I'm betting on them being changed from HD to Standard during a caliper/rotor/pad change 👍 You can always change them back to HD when you next change the calipers (the rears never seem to last all that long!!!) Just installed a new thermostat in a 2018 jeep grand Cherokee V6 3.6l. first auto repair I've ever done. This helps and I'm gonna run this test in the morning. Any tips on how to burp this specific cooling system?
Just did this today. It's so dumb that the hardest part of the job is getting the wiper arms off.
When I do this test on my old Buick, the display on the meter shows only zeros. If I use the POS terminal to do the probing then I get a valid reading.
I tried your method of finding a ground fault. The display on the Klein multimeter showed zeros when I used the negative probe to touch the car engine or body. When I used the positive probe I got valid readings. What's up?
Instead of going to a mechanic, I went out and bought tools. I changed the rear rotors and brake pads for my 2017 dodge grand caravan. And I also did caliper maintenance. All thanks to this channel! Thank you for all your videos! I’ve learned a lot.
Not all cars have the thermo on the top hose. I'm looking at you Subaru.

Would a bad water pump cause coolant to pool on top of the block and run to the right side of the vehicle?
Works, bought mine on Temu for $9.71.
Hi from Puerto Rico! Since we in my island is very mostly hot... Can I remove the thermostat in a 2003 Nissan Murano 3.5L? By the way I did in the past in a Mitsubishi Montero Sport 1999 and it works very well.
Thanks a million. Wish they’d just make the damn cars ONE WAY…. Sheesh
Excellent. Thank you for being so detailed.
great video, did you fix the grounding fault on the mounting, if so is there a video on what you did thanks

good video
Sometimes the most simplest of things arent shown in vids. Cos everyone thinks they r too easy. But for the rest of us, we are grateful!
Glad the video was helpful for you 👍
Yeh the grommets arrived today, as there were none on mine. Fits great an off the various pipes.
can it connect to my germany nissan 2003 xtrail t30 2.2 dci turbo diesel 4x4 6 speed?
I would absolutely expect so. But lease see the X-Tool website as they have a full compatibility checker on there so you can check not only that is is compatible, but also all of the features that will work for that model. Hope that helps! 👍
What about the temperature cooling sensor
18:30 hey... you ever do any death metal drumming?🤔😅 Great video! 🙏🏻💪🏻❣ thank u!
Thank you! This is my main vehicle in the fleet I’ve recently joins and I have to do this on Monday lol I learned and gained my confidence working with Honda so it’s a little different for me but basically the same thing, cool!
Thank you.👌
Hi. My NISSAN NOTE 1.4 PETROL has an issue - everything is ok for the cooling if the temp is up to 95C. If it goes over, due to higher RPM, the temperature start rising and the temperature only goes up. No coolant leak, no bubbles in coolant on idle, no oil in coolant. No codes on OBD. Vents work fine. Any idea what could it be? Thanx for any help.
Thanks
Thanks! The detail in this video is fantastic! You make studying very easy!
Thank you very much for your support!! 👍
