Interesting, I've had rotations done twice on my 2020 Honda passport the same time I replaced tires used tires on the same axle ( 2 fronts, then 2 rears) and neither shop did this procedure to relearn the TPMS after switching positions, however, the car read the tires correctly both times as soon as I started it up. (I know this since they never opened the car and connected anything to OBDB) Both times they overfilled the tires based on the dash readings and I manually let the air out and the dash showed the exact tire I was releasing air from or refilling. Is that weird? Maybe the car has a sensor to read each wheel independently? Not sure why it would work otherwise.
