As soon as I have the funds, I am gonna do the full dash upgrade with east coast!! They have done some awesome setups.

@@DIYDieselwould you mind if I asked how much that has costs to do the whole dashboard with the LEDS. I have done all of my outside lights and almost all my inside lights with LEDS. I would love to do all of it. Thanks

@@kristinakelly7231 so without the cluster and just all the other ones I think it’s like 300 bucks it’s really not bad. Add the cluster adds another 300 I do believe it also depends what you all have done to it how customs you want 👍🏼

Question: Why did you need to replace?? I’m having issues w my 06 Silverado HVAC control and my fuses are still good. Does the control panel go out? Thanks in advance.

I have not lights nothing turns on with my 2004.5 just one day didnt turn on. Fuses are good. Possibly its the unit ?

Sorry this took a month lol unfortunately you cannot switch to digital without changing I believe it’s the ecu and a bunch of other stuff

I replaced the unit and all the LED lights come on, but alas no control over the functions (no AC, NO heat, can't increase blower). Thoughts?

Is it possible to swap the manual climate control to that one or does it require wiring and stuff?

Unfortunately no it is not; be thankful you do have that manual stuff. These digital ones always have issues. Enable to change it over it would require ecm changes.

They work great still 👍 I actually just recently bought the rest of the dash from him besides the cluster.

can you swap the hvac control modules that don't have the screens to the ones that do?

Unfortunately no. You will have to swap ecm and also some other stuff as well.

How was it not working? Mines only blow high or off and the tempt is either hot or cold no in-between. Is that the climate control or blower transistor

That’s more than likely the climate control. There’s a Dorman version on Amazon that is plug and play and will learn your trucks ecm to make it compatible and simple. Also replace the cab air sensor above your head on the drivers side. A lot of people think that’s a speaker or microphone, but it’s the sensor that communicates to the unit. Do both of those and you should be good.

@@DIYDiesel Sure. Protect any sensitive electrical components. Chemical wise APC of your choice for cleaning and degreasing. Dilute APC 4:1. Keep everything wet and scrub with whatever brushes you have. Rinse and repeat until clean. I like Maguire's Hyper Dressing for the finish diluted 1:1.
