Yep, that area and anywhere along Baseline in Mesa is really good. Like Val Vista and Baseline, Greenfield, Stapley. Plenty of bigger chain restaurants with lots of demand. The large orders typically come when I’m not real close to the merchant though, to allow a little more time for the order to be completed. That’s one tip I haven’t shared yet that I’ve learned and taken advantage of for years. Proximity to different merchants in relation to receiving more offers from any particular place or size of the order. It’s something I’ve taught clients in the past.

?? Mine been like this for well over a year. Idk how large orders work but I've been dashing about 5 years now and I know for some reason I usually get more large orders than most other dashers I know. I dash in different cities around America as well so location doesn't really matter but every single day I get at least 3 orders that have at least a 30 or 40 dollar payout. I never got any email about anything about this. I always can just look at orders and tell which ones are like this. I've been telling people for over a year now that if you accept an order and it says "hot bag" "catering bag" required that it's a large order Now what I've figured out is if the total amount of the order is 100 dollars it will bring up the catering bag prompt. I've tested it and that's the number 100

Did you ever do Drive Deliveries? Yes, it’s been that way for a very long time where anything $100+ subtotal was sent with the message on incoming offer “hot bag required at this merchant” and something I’ve used to find these offers for as long as that’s been happening. I knew better than to share that info in videos, because DoorDash monitors my channel to make necessary changes when I give out helpful info. Unfortunately! Now they’ve taken away that message on incoming offers and they’re not showing “catering bag required” like they state on their website and in the email they sent two weeks ago. No shocker that they don’t stand by their word though and use the change to deceive Dashers into accepting more low $$ offers. I just received one for $8.50 with 17 items that actually paid out $23. The item count at that particular merchant was a dead give away that it would be higher paying. Subtotal ended up being $170, with $20 tip. If I accept a large item count, I always check the subtotal after accepting and unassign if it’s some BS like a bunch of sauces, or things like plates and utensils. Which I’ve seen from places like, PF Changs and quickly unassigned. The other option for people is the Para app. In all actuality, DoorDash should be sued for costing us a loss in profits by hiding and altering info they receive from merchants and customers in order to manipulate us into accepting lower dollar offers. Thanks to Para, that case is easy to prove in a court of law now and would force DoorDash to have to show full payouts up front from that point on. The trick is finding a lawyer and firm that will take the case, but it’s 100% a winner when someone does!!

If it pays for my time and mileage, I’ve gone as far as 20+ miles. For example, I had one that paid $75 for 20+ miles one way with a long drive back without offers. That’s an anomaly, but one example of where I will drive far. Still paid me over $1.50/mile and $75 for an hour of my time. Everything is situational, so think of how much is being paid for your time and miles. Those are the only two things that really matter.

I've been doing DoorDash for 4+ years now, my stats have always met the requirements to see larger orders - yet I have not ever gotten an email to join. It sucks that they only do this by invite only. I just tried to contact DoorDash support and all they did was give me the generic requirements which I told them I met and then left me with - maybe there's too many dashers in my area that have the larger order status. Which I think is BS, bc I am originally from Portland which is a HUGE market and now Im in Salt Lake City, which is equally as huge. It definitely doesnt seem as easy to get in by hitting them up.

That’s not what I found when I clicked the links and followed the info. That would be a big change, not a small change but we will see. So far their claim of having “catering bag required” is complete BS and the offers now show nothing. Before it at least showed that you needed a hot bag for that store, which was an indicator that it was a large order. One of the reasons I never shared that info publicly, because they would change it to keep people from cherry picking. The large order program and drive program are two completely separate things. That email just addressed large offer program. I broke that down in detail in the video. Of course, I could be wrong and I appreciate you sharing your take on it!

What minimum $ offers are you seeing that end up paying higher? For example, in my market it’s $6.50 and some other markets it’s $6.25. I won’t accept anything lower than that and generally I like to see an $7-$8 minimum, unless you feel it will pay higher based off item count and subtotal. The $/mile needs to be $1.50-$2 including any empty miles you will have when accepting offers that take you away from areas with merchants. I live on the perimeter of the zone and experience that often, so I make sure it’s worth the distance and time when accepting. It’s nice when Para isn’t being blocked by DD, so Dashers can see when they can accept an offer lower than $7-$8 without getting paid less than that.

Yes, there’s been a pattern for a long time. At first it was offers $8 and above but generally wasn’t an even $ amount. Was like $8.50, $9.25, etc. They quickly found they could start squeezing that down as the average offer decreased through the pandemic. Going down to $7.50 and eventually $6.50 currently in my market for quite some time, but $6.25 in other markets like, Houston for example. I have upwards of 200+ screenshots of these higher paying offers that WERE NOT part of the “large order program” that I covered in great detail in this video. I never needed an app like Para to help me find the ones that paid higher, but why play the guessing game when you don’t have to. That only benefits the company that uses unethical practices to deceive, while they’re also breaking the TOS we agreed to by manipulating the info they receive and then transmit to us. I just never made any videos sharing info that DoorDash would eventually use to change their system on us, like some other creators have done simply for views and monetary gain.
