How to Perform a Vestibular VOR Progression: Watch our video to learn how to safely progress with vestibular ocular reflex exercises.
This technique is used to treat a unilateral vestibular hyperfunction (UVH) which may develop from conditions such as Vestibular Neuritis/Labyrinthitis, Meniere's, Acoustic Neuroma, and Ototoxicity.

Correction to what was stated in the video. The VOR can operate at > 8 Hz. It is not optimized until 2 Hz is reached.

It works for both, I was originally diagnosed with bilateral vestibular hypofunction and was doing these in therapy but then I had a updated VNG and it turns out I only have unilateral hypofunction 29% weakness in my right ear only
so these don't help if bilateral vestibular loss? only for unilateral?

VOR exercises are also helpful with bilateral loss but outcomes are dependent on the pathological cause and the severity of vestibular loss.
I decreased the sway and my dizziness started to get worse again.
