5:47 "heat up 1 tbs of ground oil" .... there is like 200 ml of oil . But seriously great recipe , tried few times taste delicious :)

Faaaac chicken its spicy meat boi!
Which brand of curry powder do you use?
Thank you finally found the right dive for my chicken.
Just made this, it's now like crack in our house! I did mess up by mistakenly using tbsp flour instead of teaspoons. I also forgot to add the coconut milk and had to add it near the end and mix well.
That’s more than 1 tablespoon of oil he’s cooking with haha

It would be nice if Gok Wan used a "no food waste" cooking approach that both Jamie or Gordon use. If you notice, after Gok Wan is done, there are partially used ingredients as leftovers from an excess of leftover sauce to a partially grated apple.

He's not a chef but did grow up working in his families restaurants, where he learnt to cook Asian food from a very young age

Could u pl.give us the curry powder name. The brand name.
What happened to the carrot - was that left in the sauce or removed somehow after letting it infuse?
“Heat up 1 tablespoon of bran oil” cuts to a pan with a basically a pint in there…
Hehe boi

Uncle Roger pretty much only criticizes and Gok Wan is already known for a positive presentation attitude. Having Roger do a teardown of a positive mood show is actually not a happy or fun thing to see.
As japanese, I’m offended by this one is called Katsu curry. We never ever put coconut milk into curry sauce. That makes curry sauce tastes extremely different from Japanese one. I would be fine if it was introduced as chicken cutlet curry.
The oil used for frying the chicken is definitely not one table spoon.
He got that sadism or BDSM shit vibe right there 1:04
One tablespoon 😂😂
That looks pretty much more than a tablespoon.....
That’s a tablespoon of bran oil? 😳

Didn't you know bran oil miraculously expands when heated, can triple the quantity sometimes

Five minute video if you cut out the waffle and dramatics. I have never, ever in my long life gone downstairs to get something to eat during the night.
