Hi guys! So there is a mistake in the video for the cashew cheese - I say on screen to add 1 cup of water to the food processor, and the bring 1 cup of water to the boil. It is meant to be 1/2 cup of water to the food processor, and 1/2 cup of water to the boil. So sorry about this, but the recipe on my website is correct: bit.ly/2IIPlbP

I just made the garlic and herb almond cheese, it is SOOOO GOOD!!!!!!
Guys the mixed herbs are also known as herbes de provence, provansalska zelišča, Kräuter Provencial. If you can't find this, use Italian/ Mediterranean mixed herbs.

Little tip: most Asian shops will also sell agar agar because they use it often in Eastern Asian cuisine! 💘
YES for the Vegan cheese 🌱😋😍 fabulous recipes Madeleine x
Literally just went to your channel to see if anything new was posted recently and then was notified 5 minutes later that you posted a new vid!
I love how your videos are so professional yet so personal Maddie! xx
Lol Alex at the end 🤣 Great recipes, thanks Madeleine!
Thank you so much! I've been searching and looking for vegan cheese recipes for so long! Love your videos
The cashew cheese is delightful! I almost cried because I so missed cheese. I am allergic to dairy big time! I did not have the agar agar powder so used 1/3 cup of the agar agar strips that I soaked in 1 cup of water for 15 minutes. I then boiled the agar and water together to let it dissolve. I then placed half the agar and water mixture into the food processor with the other ingredients you mentioned to process. After that blended well I added the blender mix to my now 1/2 c boiled agar agar did the rest of what you shared. It was a bit more of a pain but it worked! So grateful! Thank you!
Wow the cashew cheese is a game changer! All the vegan cheese recipe I look at take few days to complete so this is amazing definitely save it up as something I need to do
Ahhhhh This Is So Amazing! Thank You! Your videos are not along very aestheticially pleasing but also helpful, interesting, simple to understand and ahh SO AMAZING I LOVE WATCHING YOUR VIDEOS ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
One of the reasons i love your videos is cause they are soo aesthetically pleasing!
The ASMR quality to your videos adds such a lovely touch ❤️❤️
I know so many people who are vegetarians just because of not getting rid of the cheese. I truly want to create a plant based cheese business because most suck too lol Homemade is the best way. I made what I call a Jalapeno Popper cheddar. I just got crushed dried jalapeno flakes and threw that into a recipe similar to your cheese wheel. It was BANGING. Threw it on a black bean burger last night.
I made the garlic and herb one today, and oh my ITS SO DELICIOUS THANK YOU♡
Madeleine Olivia! I tried all these recipes and they are my absolute favorites! Thank you so much for this! The almond one i make it often, love it w toast!
Oh my goodness! You are the goddess of vegan cooking! Thank you lovely Madeleine.
I love Alex's commentary at the end!
Loves from Malaysia ❤️ would definitely try the second recipe, awesome!
Thanks for this recipe. I made the cream cheese with cashews it’s was lovely. I also added in 1 teaspoon of Dijon mustard. Keep leading the way 👍

The one thing I was looking for!
I didn't know vegan cheese would look so yummy and so easy to make!! All of them are amazing thank you
Great! I recently changed my eating habits, mostly vegan now, the only dairy I have once in a while is organic ghee, I don’t eat wheat anymore either and no sugar. It’s been a journey, I find avoiding cheese still worse than doing without sugar and wheat… so these “cheese” recipes are a Godsend!
Most jelly desserts in Asia use agar agar instead of gelatin so it's available in most Asian groceries, sold in packets. One more place to look, if you have an Asian grocery nearby. :-) Thanks for these great recipes that let people know veganism can be accesible and delicious!
Literally in the middle of making one of your other recipes 😅 Can’t wait to try these ones too!
I love your videos cause obviously they're great, but also cause you are always find what you've done really tasty! You look so happy in this precise moment, it's my favourite :)
The music in your videos is beautiful. You had chosen this perfectly!
I’m gonna try all of them. You’re amazing ❤️❤️. Thank you 😊
Just tried making the Creamy cheese but i used dried herbs (rosemary, thyme and basil) instead and it did not dissapoint!! So so good! I had them with fresh pita bread and dare i say it's better than regular cream cheese. Thank you for this recipe!
I’ve had cashew in my cupboard for a while, so I’ll be giving that cashew cheese a go. Also will be ordering agar agar next week!
Definitely going to try that first spreadable cheese! I’m not too fond of almonds, but I have a bag of them I wanna use up! Thank you so much for this!
Cannot live without cashew cheese! 🧀 ❤️👌🏻
Can't waitto try at least two of these. I love the way she says thick and hard.
Finally I can use my nutritional yeast! Thank you. Tomorrow I’m going to make the almond based cheese
Made my first batch of almond cheese and find it to be a good substitute for recotta. Seasoned any way you like and very versatile.
I adored cheese! Still, i went vegan overnight. Animals are way more important than cheese.

Excellent video. Dairy cheese was the product I found the hardest to give up. But I am glad I did and I prefer vegan cheese now. Tesco's and Sainsbury's vegan cheese is made by Bute Island Foods who makes Scheese but Tesco's vegan cheese is the one I buy because Tesco's stores are nearer than the Sainsbury's stores and I also like the vegan garlic & herb cream cheese from Asda.
Love these can’t wait to try all these recipes out!
I made the "cheese" spread yesterday. It doesn't taste like cheese that much BUT it's soooooooooo good. I'll make it again for sure.

It’s nice of you to show these recipes, I just find loose long hair in the kitchen really unhygienic
I made the first recipe once with almonds and once with cashews and a slightly different set of spices in each. A couple days in and they are set very nicely. This is the first veggie cheese I have made, it's really good. Seems a bit more like a hummus spread than a cheese perhaps, but super tasty. Can't wait to try the others.
I just found your channel today...oh my god I love your videos!!!! You are amazing and so helpful. Thank you for your vibrant self. Yeah, I am binge watching lol ♡
I tried the almond cheese recipe, but reduced the lemon juice to 1/2 tsp, removed the sugar, and used only 1/2 tsp sea salt. Call me weird, but the blended almond and nutritional yeast yielded a flavor and consistency very similar to tuna salad in my opinion. So much so that I went ahead and slathered some between 2 pumpernickel slices, added tomatoes and lettuce and made myself a sandwich. For me, it was a legit vegan tuna salad sandwich. To make it more filling, I want to try mixing in some jackfruit or maybe artichokes next time. Thanks for the recipe! Love the look and feel of your video :)
Loved this one. I can't wait to try it all :D
Oh my gosh these look amazing!!!!
fab!! well done maddie (:
This was EXACTLY what I needed 👏🏽
Thank you for these recipes. I’m making a pizza now and eager to top it with a few dollops of the first soft cheese
im not even a vegetarian or a vegan, but I like this and im going to make it. I was looking for it to use as vegan Tortellini filling. thank you so much for showing us all.
Hi Maddie all 3 look Delicious We will have to try these thank you
Look at chinese shops too. It's actually very common for Chinese to use agar-agar jellos.
Thank you! great recipes!!!!!!
looks sooooo good ! thank you ❤️
These look so delicious... I’m so excited to try them all. Wish me luck 😅
I just made the first one amazing now on to the second one
Thank you for the recipe . I like the idea of adding different herbs. I am allergic to cashews and almonds. The only nuts I can tolerate are pine nuts and pistachios ...I wonder if I can use oatmeal too. Making our own cheese is not only healthier but also tasty and personal. Will try make it soon. 😍
I am obsessed with the way you pronounce "oregano" ❤️
I tried the second and third one, the second one is amazing!!!!! Better than I bought outsied!!!!!!Thank you so much!! Big hug from China
these all look amazing, cant wait to try them! will you be posting more content that is relating to your house renovation? i loved the first video
I had no idea it was so easy to make!
Yummmmm I'm going to try the first one and the latest one
I agree, cheese is the hardest thing for most to give up and store bought vegan cheeses all taste the same, great homemade recipes!
Awesome. Somewhat similar to making hummus but with cashews.
Constructive criticism: I think it would work a lot better with more narration and less text on the screen. A lot of the text flashes by really quickly too, so one has to pause the video or even go back to see what they missed.
Love this! Not a vegan but I'm mildly allergic to dairy and I LOVE cheese. These will be so helpful!!!

If you're not sure where to find agar agar, I often see it in the "asian" section at supermarkets or natural foods stores, it's used in Japan to make wagashi (confectionery)
So I found at Walmart Simply Organic herbs de provence with the same spices as called out in the mixed herbs. Can’t wait to make some vegan cheese! Thank you Maddie!
I've seen vegan Applewood cheese at Asdas. Haven't tried it yet but it's really tempting :)

I've never seen a hard vegan cheese recipe! I can't wait to try these
8:45 i’ve never seen a less convincing “mmmm”
I tried a vegan pistachio slice in my local cafe. There were two layers: one green (pistachio presumably) and one brown. The brown layer had a slight bitterness but despite this tastes nice and had a nice texture in the mouth. The green layer was so sickly sweet I could not eat it; on examination I found it was just a green paste. This leads me to believe that vegans use more fats and sugars in their products to acquire a taste which would otherwise be lacking.
Love this video!! More cheese please haha
I did the nutrition facts for the first 2 cheeses, each broken down into 4 servings: 1) Almond Cheese: 186 Calories, 6.775 Grams or protein per serving. 2) Cashew Cheese: 153 Calories, 5.95 Grams of protein per serving. I would've done the third but I don't know wtf plant milk is. Wasn't sure if it wasn't almond or coconut or oat or soy or whatever.
