My Homemade Luncheon Meat is a MUST TRY recipe. Many of my fans prepared this recipe with much satisfaction. The taste is just right and very flavorful.
Ingredients A:-
1kg of Minced pork
2 1/2 Egg white
50g Cornflour
50g Self-raising
4 tbsp Chopped garlic
Ingredients B:-
1 1/2 tsp Salt
1 tsp Five spice powder
2 tsp Sesame oil
3 1/2 tbsp Light soya sauce
2 tbsp Sugar
2 tbsp Chicken powder
1 tbsp Red yeast residue (blended) or red yeast powder
1/2 tbsp White pepper
2 tbsp Xiao xing wine
Method:-
1) Cut the pork into smaller pieces and mince it in a food processor.
2) Combine all the ingredients (B) and mix into the minced pork.
3) Transfer the mixture into mixer bowl, add in the egg white, cornflour and self-raising flour. Using the K-beater, beat for 2 to 3 minits.
4) Beat until it is well incorporated and sticky.
5) Grease a loaf pan of 22.5cm x 8.5cm x 6.5cm with cooking oil.
6) Scoop the meat mixture in the loaf pan and press out evenly.
7) Press down hard to avoid any trapped air in between.
8) Cover with aluminium foil and steam over preheated steamer for 30 to 35 minits until cooked.
9) After 35 minits, remove the aluminium foil and cool completely.
10) Slice accordingly and can be served by frying omelette or pan-fry by itself.
Yummy!

Hi, i don't use self-raising flour for cooking as it will give me a kind of strong taste on the final product. What can I replace it? I saw comment using AP turned out hard. Your advice, please. Thanks.

Tqvm Soh. This is the best luncheon meat recipe I ever tried 👍 I used chicken drumstick instead of pork , but add 2 tbsp of lard. It comes out really nice 👍
