I agree about the shemag.. I always take one with.. The chair is a real cool idea. Basically like making a really small set of tepee poles. I would think it would be a little more comfortable with a piece of flat wood as the seat though.. Those cords will eventually feel as if they are cutting into the butt.

I half expected the words "Paramount Pictures" to pop up above the mountain in the intro, and the Lilly font looked like the pharmaceutical logo :) Nicely done though, very polished and professional. Those shemaghs are awesome and you can use them for ANYTHING (as you know). The ones I have are made in the Pakistani region and they tend to have so much extra dye in them that an greenish brown one I got could have turned a whole swimming pool green by the time it stopped coming out lol. RINSE, RINSE, RINSE... 😂

Good idea. If you have or find one of those folding camping chairs with the tubular metal frame that is broken that would be a great place to obtain/recycle the fabric and it would be very strong. In fact, being that I doubt the setup that held Lilly up just fine would hold my weight, that would probably be just the ticket for me. I used to see commercial three-legged folding stools that were made like those chairs but folded down into a very light and compact package but haven't seen them for sale in years.

Great video Lilly! BTY, have you ever heard of Francis Mallmann? He is a Argentinian recognized chef - who has left his career as a chef to go back into the land as in his roots as a "gaucho" or woodsmen to study the outdoor way of living the gaucho way. Hence, he produced a method to cook various foods using 7 cooking methods to cook food using fire. I believe its called the: Seven Fires, The Argentinian Way. He's also on KZread. I think he will feed some of your outdoor creativity.

Actually, that's a great camp seat design. Though I would change the upper string method and replace it with a animal skin instead. I think sitting on a cordage after a while will cut off blood circulation on a older chap such as myself.
