This is an excellent how-to video, no words, no unnecessary waste, just the instructions. This video is universally accessible to people around the world who speak any language! What a great job! And the dog was a bonus :)

Really great diy clip. Cool chair by a man with simple tools, just an axe and a knife, oh! and a fellow dog😊. I’ll build one like this with bamboo from my backyard. Thanks from Thailand.
I like this style of video. Good blocking and editing. Clear "how-to" with no unnecessary words. Nice music. Pleasant to watch and informative. Thanks for the work you put into this video. Love the chair.

Just watched this video because I was heading out to the woods for the day and get sick of the extra weight of a stool, built it simply from watching your video. Very simple, very very comfortable. Thank you so much for taking the time to do this!

Sometimes the best instructional videos have no "sound". Too many people have to jabber away incessantly through their videos. A very good demonstration that has earned you a new subscriber

Well done good sir. Your dog makes a great supervisor. Superb job making the video. Thank you for sharing.
Good to see you, I love your no nonsense approach to your videos. you are the very few i can watch at night when I can't sleep and need a non verbal nature experience. Thank you.

Great video...enjoyed it all, you and your dog, the chair...wow, very very cool! Perfect choice of music too. Very relaxing. 👍
man the woods where im at you have vines everywhere poison ivy on every corner there is no good wood and the wood leans on other trees so felling a tree is so fun and your woods are like a dream for me
Well done DonVonGun, I liked the way you knotche’d out for bracing. Great job
Perfect !!! I'm so happy I decided to watch KZread at work today because my plan was to shoot a video of me making this same chair tomorrow (inspired by the one I saw in your previous video) KZread doesn't need two of these films so I guess I get to enjoy making mine in peace without the hassle of a camera now instead:) Great video! Cool ending. Thank you!

Good video, great axe work, thanks for doing this!
Love the instructions. I especially like your dog
I watched your latest this 2 a.m. eastern time U.S. (pancakes birch syrup carving a ladle) but when you pulled out your chair I said, wait... whut?? So I'm working my way thru your channel, catching up to present day, filling in the bits i have missed Never run when you can walk, never walk when you can stand and never stand when you can sit even if you must make your own chair. I worked in construction, first as a carpenter for many years and if we wanted to sit it was a bucket or a stack of wood or a stool or bench knocked together But later in life I was a laborer tending brick block and mortar to masons and working with them was the best, as with that nothing was more handy and plentiful that an 8" x 16 " cement block stood on end. There's nothing more satisfying than taking after working, as evident in your face Great stuff and Musen was so little then... and playful too. I had to show my wife how she stood on your back and how you kept at your task w/o missing a beat.
Awesome! Been looking for someone to do a video on this style of chair so I can build one. Great work!

Glad you like it. Good luck with the chair, i am sure you will enjoy it. :D
Hello! Don, Nice video I have seen a few people making these now, including one using a triangular piece of thick canvas to attach to the frame. The canvas isn't too heavy to carry and is a bit more comfortable to sit on than wood struts or twigs. The canvas has brass grommets at the angles to facilitate using para chord. It saves a bit of cutting too. 😂 All the best. God bless, Steven.
great video. well edited, easy to follow along, thanks. That chair look very comfortable. especially the last modifications on the seat. good hatchet skills. enjoyed it thanks.
