about how much rope did you use per each lashing?

For the smaller lashings I started with about 3 ft. On the longer ones I started with about 5 ft.
I think the seat dowels being different lengths could be a nice touch if the shorter seat dowels were where the A frame was closer together and the longer ones were where it was wider, making for an even overhang.

Thanks for the question. 48-In x 1-In dowels that you can purchase at any home improvement store. We just cut the dowels for the seat on the fly. Happy camping!
