This is the clearest demo for this tool that I have seen. I started using it and somewhere I cut wrong and could not figure out what I did wrong. Now, I can intelligently use this ruler. Thank you so much!
Finally, I am able to use this tool. I watched a creative grids video and could not figure it out! Thank you.

Your voice comes across very good. Nice to listen to--good pace & not too soft or too loud. Yes, I'm a picky person. LOL!
Thank you! You make it look so easy!!
excellent block discription
Thank you awesome I was going ask if there was a book 😊👏
Great video. I have the Log Cabin Trim Tool!
Thanks for clearing things up for me. I was lost at the next to last step, that being the final trim before adding the dog ears.
Thank you for another wonderful tutorial. I just ordered the ruler. Can you tell me what size you cut your strips? Do you have a chart like you did for your log cabin tutorial? Thanks again, I always look forward to your tutorials.
Please size of the square and size of the strips (both, small and the last strip.) Love your instructions. Thank you.

Waiting for her answer. 3 years passed by.
How much fabric would it take to make a queen size quilt.
There were so many more steps you could have shown.. like what size to cut the pieces of fabric for the rounds or using the longer strips of fabric, sewing them on and then cutting them..
You did say what size any of your strips were. Or what the size of the center block.
What size are your strips?
What width are your strips?
What size are the white and coloured strips
Thank you for the tutorial. Would help if you would give size of middle block and strips needed please.

Hi Marilyn, the instructions and sizes are for download on creative grids website.
I read that the strips could be 1 3/4 to 2 inches. I dont know why she couldnt tell us. The rest of the video is very well done.
Why does nobody divulge how wide the strips are after the initial 2&half inch centre square????
Not very clear for a beginner, but I like
I'm assuming you've cut your own strips here... instead of using skinny strips... a word or two about that would have helped...
It looks easy with the ruler, but WHOA - TOO much waste!!

this is exactly how I feel, my goodness, half of your fabric is going to be wasted. I prefer to use the paperpiece method with strips in difference sizes.
