    Let me tell you, this tutorial is the hands down the best one out there for this trim tool. I’ve been struggling because with ALL the tutorials there are, NO ONE explains the way the lengths of the strips. Everyone explains the width but none explain the length. I got to round 6 and started messing up. Then I came to this tutorial. I’m so glad. Not too much wasted in strips because of this tutorial.

    Beautiful colors...I just completed my blocks, but in putting blocks together, since seams were all pressed out, now they are all on top of each other/not opposite to nestle....Am I supposed to re-press every other block, press seams open now, or how do you advise to proceed to make it best lay flat. Thanks for any advice :)

  • @ShabbyFabrics

    @ShabbyFabrics

    4 жыл бұрын

    Yes, you can press your seams open or re-press the blocks, whichever you prefer. Sometimes with quilts with this much piecing, it is hard to know which way to press the seams until you are trying to sew them together. We repress seams as needed. - Morgan

    Your video presentation is Outstanding! However your verbal directions needs some serious schooling. Put yourself into your audience place and try to figure out your instructions, kinda difficult huh? In all of my years, I've never figured out where "over there" is. And, I've yet had to have an inanimate object talk to me, this pineapple ruler talks to you a lot? "I want to fussy cut in this lane right here"..where is that. I'm X-Military and we used specific instructions to do tasks, not generic.
