+OPG Koyote they are low compression (8.5:1) motors with a forged crank, rods, pistons in an iron block. They hold up well and I've seen some live through some hard core crap (like snapping an axle on nitrous and having flames come out the pipes and people go from 3rd at redline back to 2nd and spin the tires and the car is still okay

Awesome video thanks. It looks like you don't need to calibrate the boost needle, just put the cluster bezel back & lay the needle on the bottom of it.. am I right? Also do you think a tire inflator can work for testing the boost?

Was just about to pay $30 for an overlay from LMR. I'm only at 14lbs of boost so think I'm just gonna stick with my stock one til I either port or upgrade my Eaton for now. 😂

I don’t believe it has a part number for individual sale. You’ll have to look on eBay or get another gauge cluster from a salvage yard

One thing I noticed. When you had to put the bezel back on. You had to raise the Boost needle back to the zero mark. In order for it to fit right ..You had it set below the zero to be accurate with the other gauge before you put the bezel back on. So does that mean that it's a couple of PSI off

johnny perez Yeah, it should be yellow stock. I also added a T fitting behind the glove box (replaced the stock connection where the two hoses meet with a Y Fitting from a pack you buy at autozone). Now I have boost to the stock gauge cluster as well as my Aem failsafe

If it worked when calibrating it, I wonder if the line that plugs into the gauge is on correct, or maybe has something in it, blocking it

Danny Johnson idk but my gauge worked perfect before and I bought a boost gauge hooked up and I did the pressure test the gauge I bought shot to 20psi fast but my cobra boat gauge just didn't move well the needle didn't turn

never mind it was disconnected. lol took me a year to finally connect it lol. i thought it was something really difficult lol
