*Note I called the vacuum reservoir a “boost reservoir.” It’s a vacuum reservoir 😉

Could you do this for the 98 cobra please
You and your brother are the best. I'm making boost but my factory and aftermarket boost gauges are now reading 0. Will be checking all of these lines. Maybe its just the one behind the glovebox, I'll probably start there.
Very helpful video .I'm doing a terminator swap this summer I'm watching every video related with the cobra mustang on KZread
Only Danny terminator guru would give us Valuable information
Well done Dan.
Awesome video
Great video.
Great info Danny
Very helpful with doing an Eaton Swap.
This was a great video,
good vid informative asf
Very helpful if you could maybe do one on a mach I’m in the process of installing a twin turbo and I want to find out what’s needed and not needed
On the new whipple gen 4 2.9 they have a the line that would go to the bypass valve going to the blower so where does that egr line that use to go to bypass valve go
Now that’s what I call fan service!
Do you know what these cars read for vacuum at idle?
Should do one on your mach also.
Hey Danny on the boost Solenoid the middle vacuum line that goes to the top of the boost bypass what did you use to make it longer I am installing a gen 3R on my 04 cobra?

I'm about to install a 3R on mine, did you find a solution to this problem? Any other issues? I know I have to modify the coolant crossover tube
Hey Danny, I'm trying to diagnose air/AC being stuck on defrost only. I saw where you mentioned the black line going into the firewall affecting the controls but not sure where to diagnose further and wondering if you had any advise? Do you know if that black line into the firewall is supposed to hold vacuum or boost? Mine held boost with a mighty vac but would not hold vacuum.

I’d pull the glove box down as shown in the video below and look for any vacuum lines that are broken back in there. kzread.info/dash/bejne/hmSdzcuDoL3NgcY.html
I you have reasons why to do boost by-pass delete, plugging off the lower manifold and capping off the vacuum line to the intake, removing the check valve or any other vacuum mods, I would love to hear it. My vacuum came with a lot of things deleted including the EGR, boost bypass adn it also had breathers. Thanks for the videos.

A lot of people plug the lower manifold so it will never leak. It still does the vacuum relief job going from the cam cover to the supercharger. As for the other items, it’s common to delete them for the Egr and such- but it’s a good idea to keep the parts in case emissions become enforced
Question about the boost bypass vacuum lines… do you leave the lower hose unhooked? I have a whipple 2.3.

I believe it can be left open to vent to atmosphere or the like otherwise vents back into the intake system
Hey Danny got a quick question..what side is the pcv valve on an 03-04 cobra can't find a direct answer anywhere..it's for a tork tech kit I'm doing thanks love the videos

There is one on each side for each cam cover. The passenger side goes from the intake to the cam cover and the driver side goes from the cam cover to the back of the blower. kzread.info/dash/bejne/g6aYrK-ues_Lm9I.html

@@dannyjohnsonsgarage can you tell me how to route the pcv lines on a tork tech 2v..I have the pcv valve going to the intake and the driverside going to the back of the blower to the big vacume port but I think that is backwards because it has crazy crankcase pressure..
This is cool, can you do one for the GT?

Yeah, I’ll need to do that next. Should be a little more simple 👍🏼
Lot of vacuum lines to follow. On top of all the wiring.
You seem like the guy to know this, but my cobra isn’t going into boost at all and idle surges +- 100 rpm. I reconnected the battery and the car does fine until a couple weeks. You think its a Vac leak or bad bypass valve? All the routing is OEM.

I would agree with the bypass valve. If it’s stuck the car won’t build boost

@@dannyjohnsonsgarage thank you! Ill give it a look
School time 🤓👌🏻
Let me start by saying that I know nothing and I can prove it. I am working on an 03 terminator with an 02 body. I don’t have an egr valve. Is this because I have aftermarket headers? Also is there a source for the plastic vacuum line and rubber boots? I normally order most of my stuff from NPD but I don’t see it in the catalog. Sorry for my ignorance. My idea of newer is 1972. Thanks.

The EGR was probably deleted. eBay had parts that are all together and used, but very expensive. If you find the right adapters somewhere I’m sure you could make your own setup

@@dannyjohnsonsgarage thanks a million. This is all new territory for me. It really doesn’t seem like it’s all that bad if you just understand the basics of what everything does.
