Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

I just got 4” action series, do you use the existing transom holes to mount the plate? Did you by chance reach out to Bob’s about a longer relay harness?

@@danielmid6022 Ok right on! I got an east cape fury (similar to a hells bay skiff) I’m assuming that 9’ harness won’t be long enough either…..Thanks for putting out the video. It’s very helpful compared to any modern day instructions!

Ever have any issues with power continuity when just adding more 12 awg? I will have the same situation and when I reached out to TH Marine about adding more wire to a micro jacker and they replied with "You can add to the harness but do not use anything less than 8 gauge wire so to not loose continuity.". Curious to what your experience has been with just more 12 awg. Thank you.

Hi, I personally have never had an issue. This is my third boat set up this way and I've helped friend's do their boats the same way. If u are going to extend the harness by a lot, then maybe there's a need to drop down in wire gauge. Hope that helps!

@@danielmid6022 Yep, hearing experiences helps! I am only adding a max of 3' and thought 8 would make more sense if it were maybe 6'+ but I am no expert. Thank you for replying!

its not silicone, and you wipe the screw holes not shoot in only to have pushed out.. you can see the electrolysis on your transom plate with SST bolts and aluminum plates.. nice vid though

I thought the threads/nuts go to the inside of the transom?

Those Yellow ring eye connectors that go to the battery and the 2 on the circuit breaker have no business being installed on Any marine application. They are open barrel style and My biggest Bitch with Bobs stuff. They allow corrosion to go right into the wiring. Change them to Crimp/Shrink ends and you will stop problems down the road.
