You would get more function out of the blinker install if you have it facing the opposite of the throttle. This allows you to manage the throttle and jack plate at same time with one hand on the wheel/blinker and the other on throttle. This is very common on flats boats for hole shots in shallow water. For example, you have jack plate all the way up as you throttle up to get on plane. Usually gunning it. As you get on plane you lower the engine and also pull back on throttle all at the same time. That is very hard to do when blinker is on the same side as throttle.

I fully agree!! But i do have a hot foot so i have no issue. I have both hands on the wheel and one foot on the throttle!

@@jasonstoopsfishing Ah, makes sense for ya then... us saltwater folks don't even know what a 'hot foot' is...lol... we do way to much standing for it to be an option...

Most Bass Boats have a Hot foot throttle. The gear selector is just for forward or reverse. Most everyone puts them on the right side of the steering wheel.

Throtttle is on the right, mount on the left.

I wish you would have shown the puller in action

How did you do that without a 2 man or a HOF 3 man?

When you ordered the finger flex from th.. it already had the wiring attached and came with the set screws? I just ordered one but it really didn't give me a good description of what it came with or a good picture of what it would look like in the package.. I've got pro-trim but it's older and the trim box is moving around because it was not installed properly

So I have a 2003 procraft and the my tilt is on the throttle handle. I don't think mine has pre rigged wiring already so where do you think I should connect it? Should I tap into the trim gauge?

You should probably run wires and tap into the trim button on the throttle then
