Thank you Mike! 25-27 years ago, when I was in high school, I was the fastest kid in the school. I ran a 5.2 second 50 yard dash. Part of why I was always center midfield. I wish I had known of these exercises back then! Some I did, but not all. I'll be 43 next Friday but have been feeling great with my speed again despite some injuries over the years. I tore my calf muscle last year in March. Getting that daily touch and even more important, stretching properly, has been key, and your videos have been very helpful and motivating! Thank you!

@7mlc I have been training hard the past few months, but working slowly at it, at the same time to be safe, but feeling really good lately. Getting my ball control back real well and my shot has been on target once again. Always have to work that left foot 😆 although it's not terrible. I'm looking into joining a local league soon. It's been great for me health wise and overall feeling amazing!

@araufeducation8337 I was doing a ninja warrior course and climbed the warped wall and it tore, bad too! I was doing the course for about 50 minutes and had already climbed it about 6 times no problem, then half way up it felt like I got punched in the leg. I have big calves too, never thought I'd pull my calf. It was crazy but getting good strength back into it now. It will never be the same but it's 90% back to full strength.

I have been following this channel for a while. One of the dopest youtube channels, I am 27 years old now from Pakistan. Haven't played something big, just graduated, lost my dad a couple of months back but football is the only thing which is keeping me going. I don't care, I will keep working hard and I am sure my dad will be happy to see me working hard.

How many hours you trains per week
amazing videos, thank you very much for doing these. I am an ex-pro goalkeeper and I haven't been doing much in the last ten years, unfortunately. Now I am back in full training, by myself and my amateur team, and these videos are priceless. I see a lot of plyometric exercises and lateral jumps. Do you think you could put all these into one video like a "goalkeeper fitness - explosiveness" video? Thanks a lot again for all these videos.

I have a question michael is there a condition for someone (lefty) who plays as a RW/RAM to play inverted (instead of playing on the left side) as in the team has to play a particular way for that player to work or can anyone do it regardless ?

Michael, some real drills to improve speed. Remember that it’s a combination of physical AND mental quickness that gives you the ‘edge’ One of the best ‘circuits’ I have ever come across that actually worked was the following. From the start cone run 1st circuit at 75%. At cone 2 to cone 10 is one step in between the cones. Start *---*--*--*-*-*-*-end Repeat coming back so now the cones are spaced shorter so the steps are still one step between on the way back sprint to start. Repeat all x3 increasing the pace so that on the third circuit it’s flat out. Start----*---*---*---* --------*---*---* Now sprint to first cone, push off left foot to the right cone, then push off right foot to next cone to the left and so on alternatively pushing off left and right foot. Repeat x3 This builds up those muscles you may not improve by straight running. There are 100s of ways to utilise the base design by incorporating a ball/balls. You can have two teams competing against each other to see who can complete a circuit the fastest etc. Michael, this is a good video to spark a flame of passion for speed 👍

7mic please can you do speed drills for 12 to 16 year olds break it down a bit trying to get my boy 12 year old boy to do all of them is a bit hard as I do some of them in his training session s especially the warm up as his football team does not warm them that good 👍 your best trainer on you tube as my boy can do 99% or the ball mastery skills that you set.

Parachute sprints/tire pulls provide a good amount of resistance. You can also have a partner provide the resistance by holding either your shirt or your waist.
