HOW TO GROW YOUR NATURAL HAIR LONG (Part 1)
Karen discusses tips to growing out long natural hair. She discusses the 3 hair growth cycles -- anagen, catagen, and telogen. Anagen is the growth phase, where nourishment of the hair follicle via blood supply enables hair growth. Catagen is the transition phase, where hair follicles detaches from the nourishing blood supply. Telogen is the resting phase, without nourishment, the hair dies and falls out. Hair growth length is contingent upon this and thereby the length your hair can reach is genetic. Not everyone can has waist length hair.
Karen also discusses what a trim is helpful for retaining length. Protective styles help to retain length as well. Protective styles don't make your hair grow faster, but keep it from breaking off.

Yeah, I come from line of short hair women & my dad & all my brothers shaved their heads due to balding, so I'm convinced my hair will never grow more that 6 inches 🤷 but my hair is healthy!

You made a good point. My hair was never or rarely long. I am Caucasian with spiral curls and also thinning so between cuts and hair texture, I can’t get my dry hair length past the shoulder. Wet, it’s down my back lol. I will look for or await the video of internal things we can do. Keep up the great videos! Nice to hear from curly specialist and trichologist.

Jesus love you, he died on the cross for you, accept him as your lord and savior he can change everything. For God so loved the world that he gave his only son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life" (Jn 3:16" But you must repent too. From that time Jesus went about preaching and saying, Let your hearts be turned from sin, for the kingdom of heaven is near. (Matthew 4:17)_
