How To Get The Absolute Most Out Of Your Polish Pads! (UROFIBER) Plus What To Team Them With!!

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Today, we talk about how to get the most out of your polish pads. More specifically ...Urofiber pads. Buff and Shine Uro-Fiber Pads are designed to fully maximize the detailing potential already seen in microfiber pads. With a 25% lower pile than traditional microfiber pads, Buff and Shine Uro-Fiber Pads also feature a blend of two different microfiber grades into just one pad. These two features, never before seen in a microfiber pad, allow you to cut, polish and finish in just one step! While the black and white fibers found in the Buff and Shine Uro-Fiber Pads lead to an overall attractive appearance, they are for so much more than just looks. With both cutting fibers and polishing fibers blended together into one pad, you are now able to remove light to moderate scratches and swirls, polish to perfection, and buff to a high shine in just one pad! Although, of course, you will need a clean pad for each step.

Huge part of my arsenal with 3D1. I keep a lot of other combinations I’ve seen you work with. Like a golf bag, sometimes you a driver or a putter and all the woods and irons in between. I’m hooked on Sonax perfect finish and now the Angelwax line., Perfect polish has a place with the right customer too.

Polishing...cutting...and finishing.... Probably for me the area where I feel most exposed and most confused.. So many polish and compound options...so many pad types and manufacturers. Do I experiment or do I stick with one brand and become proficient. Even more complex given as a weekend warrior I'm not polishing on a daily basis. Then you throw in the different paint types the different clear coats and the level of correction needed from swirls to scratches. So thanks for a little more information to help in deciding what's the best path to take

just had my first go with urofiber using ex0406[sonax perfect finish DA version] with a makita forced rotation polisher. I'm a literal first timer and I'd just been using a basic foam pad and the difference was remarkable, taking out about 25% more surface scratches and even diminishing medium/deepest scratches. With the forced rotary the microfiber grabs and isn't as smooth as the foam but its worth the trade off with results. The pads are machine washable as well, but I think I'll hand wash

Just used these on my black f150 a few weeks ago for the first time. I found they clog up really quick was my only complaint. I just did a 1 step with 3D one. If I was being really picky there were a few spots where I could have gone over with a polishing pad but for the most part fantastic results with just a torque 10fx da polisher. Question for anybody that maintains these pads. I used a small bit of tide cold water and diluted it heavily with water to clean out the pads after a correction. I know microfiber doesn't like those detergents that have dyes and perfumes added. Are my pads going to be effective after that? I guess I could wash them again using IPA, Dawn and APC this time. Anybody know if I'm just overthinking it? Will I still get the same performance after I do the second clean? Thanks

Brian, great video. I use these pads often but find they are difficult to get into smaller areas as they are thin and not flexible on the backing plate. Sometimes I will switch over to an orange foam pad, but the cut isn't as good (- It might be good if the pads were a little thicker and more flexible for rounder body panels. Your thoughts?

When I get into tight areas...I make sure I have an over sized pat attached. I trace the backing plate and cut a quarter inch larger.
