    I just bought the machine and C4 with the P4 I plan on doing my half ton Silverado. I’m using your orange and white pad. How many pads will I need? Do I need to clean the pads? Where can I get the whole truck done with one side of pads without cleaning

    Great detailed video. How do you clean your pads after you did a polishing pass on a section of the vehicle and you are ready to move onto another section ( or aka cleaning your polishing pads “on the fly”) ?

    So if I use the aggressive pad to get the Swirls and Imperfections out of my paint can I use a less aggressive pad to polish right afterwards? If so what pads should I get

    It also depends if you have a soft clearcoat. Wouldn't need an aggressive pad on softer clears. Google up your car about its clearcoat.

    Using the green pad with v36, on last 2 black cars i did, the pad left very small swirl marks that would not finish out. After wax its hard to notice them, but I couldn't get it finished out perfectly. What should I have tried?

    I have a question When switching from let's say compound to polish and then to wax do you use the same pad or a different pad? Because if your only doing the car in sections like 2ft by 2ft Wouldn't the polishing pads dry out by the time you get to the next section you want to do Please help me out here thanks

    Hey! Use separate pads for compound, polish and coatings. Use Polishing Pad Conditioner to moisten the pad and keep them fresh.

    How will I know while I am polishing that the pad needs cleaning or to switch to a new pad? And is it bad to clean the pad with the pad cleaner/water and then continue using it? Or does it need to fully dry first? Thank you in advance!

    Hey! You will start to see the pad turn white and it will get caked up with compound or polish. We recommend air drying it after you finish washing it. Once it is dry you may reuse it again. Thanks for watching and happy detailing!

    You can also put your polisher on the highest speed setting to fling all of the water out of your pad for quicker drying!

    Technically you can, however you also want to give your pads a break because if they get too hot from being worked too hard/long they will begin to collapse and fall apart. That's a reason why you see people swapping to a new pad after a panel or two. I learned this the hard way.

    Hey there! Prime the pad each time you start a new section for the first four or five sections then apply as necessary from there, if you notice dusting or excessive heat reapply Conditioner. The soft finishing pads such as a Black Hex-Logic can be used to apply glaze, sealant, and wax. - CG Nick

    Hi there! Test in a small inconspicuous area before attempting to polish the entire vehicle. Use an Orange Hex-Logic Pad with V36 Cutting Polish or a White Hex-Logic Pad with V4 All In One Polish.

    I believe you would match the pad and compound for its designed purpose. In otherwords, you wouldn't use a fine compound for removing light swirls with a heavy pad, and you wouldn't use a heavy compound for deep cutting with a soft pad meant for applying waxes or seals.

    So you say you not suppose to put bigger pads on small backing plates because when you put pressure and they you showed on this video the way put pressure, that was a lot pressure you put I don’t think any detailer puts pressure like that. You not suppose to put pressure anyways when you using this pads let the machine do the work. Then that great video on explaining the pads yall have great product.
