I absolutely love your channel, you always do great in your explaintion
Right on josh I do 3to1 super clean and a little Dawn seems to do the job keeping the pads clean 🧼
You always got a great information brother.👍🇺🇸🇺🇸
Another great video, Josh! Thanks. :-)
Thank you for the video. Useful 👍I subscribed
Josh I cleaned 8 pads yesterday using SuperClean. This worked great. They feel brand new. I did mine in the kitchen sink. You could see the water turn from that milky product color to clear.
Great video!!!
Big thanks from Québec Canada 🇨🇦
Good stuff. Thanks
Great video
Nice one thanks
Guys make sure you blow out the water from the velcro before spinning them dry.. I lost a few pads that way lol
Ive seen people jse the tornador to blow pads. Look like it works fantastic.
Man APC's are just really hero stuff
I just watched FAB Automotive Detailing use Rags to Riches from P and S ….soaks pads overnight in a bucket with the Rags to Riches solution in the water….mind blown-game changer
Try out a pad washer. So much easier and better for the condition of your pads! Gets them really clean too.
I use Lake country pad washer 4000. It's great
I use the chemical guys pad cleaner and it works super well. It works perfectly for me so I just haven't tried anything else. I have plenty of super clean and it would use it if I ran out.
I use the same method but with Black Fire Advanced Pad Cleaner
Again, another super useful video. Killin it!!! Thank you for helping those of us that are not professionals. Love you channel and have suggested it to my friends.
Can you do a review of the iK Foam Pro 12 vs DeWALT 2 gallon pump sprayer?
I use Grit Guard for initial cleaning and rinse until water is clear.
That is very similar to what I do, thanks Josh 👍😁
Thanks for the great info Josh. I'm only recently subscribed, but I've seen almost all your videos. May I suggest an idea for content (selfishly? 😛) You reviewed the Adam's Pro pressure washer 8 months ago. You may have seen the OG review where Matt craps all over it. A little way down in the video comments an early tester of the unit named Dylan Riggs offered tips to adjust the unit for more accurate test results and greatly improved performance (a set screw in the unloader valve?) He says "I have a 4.0 nozzle getting 1150psi & getting 2.2+ gpm. It runs quieter than the Kranzle, 15 amps and I have the capability to use a 2.5 nozzle and get 2200psi at 1.5." I'd like hear your thoughts on how the unit has held up since you put it in service and to see if that adjustment makes an improvement to your tested psi/gpm...maybe even a how-to of the gravity-feed from a tank. So far I haven't seen ANYTHING on KZread about it. Worth a shot maybe?
Foam pads Drop them on a mixture of water and laundry detergent (3-4 spoons) Leave them over night Yes, they float, leave them as they float Next day, rinse them with hose water As good as new
Good tips here Josh. I use a little Dawn with the APC and a little laundry detergent. Saving up for the LakeCountry 4000 to get them cleaner, faster.
@IMJOSHV Any chance you can do a polishing pad comparison video different, price points from cheap too expensive.
Hey Josh great video I have a questions about the micro fiber towels is it okay to wash compound/polish wipe off towels with the wax wipe off towels or should that be seperate?
Same way I clean mine!
Good 👍
Thanks for doing this video. Is there any reason why you shouldn’t clean dirty pads in a washing machine? I’ve done that using warm water and a “clear” detergent along with a second rinse cycle. They come out very clean.
Just wondering who is the company that makes this super clean want to see if we can get it in our country
Josh, I’ve never tried this, but I was wondering what your thoughts are on using an extractor for cleaning pads… like a Bissell? Just curious. Thanks for your excellent videos 👍👍

I don't see why it wouldn't work. Going through the logic, I would give it a shot.
cut and polishing how many pads to u use pre job?
use a cheap cleaner called tottally awesome soak them then spin them dry and theyll be as clean as new
Josh when u lock ur brush down in ur drill turn it one click the other way and it will be actually locked down
Just a random thought… not sure if it would work but maybe using a small bissell extractor with a light towel or old t shirt over the pad might be effective and time efficient as well.
Have you used an ULTRASONIC cleaner?
What if I only have 1 polishing pad from that kit maxshine? How should I go about polishing with one pad ? I don’t have the air compressor that’s why ?
Any way to fix the peeling off the pad fixer ?
these pads have a hole in the center, some dont, why? how much better cooling (if thats what its even for) does this add?
Have you used snappy pad cleaner? The stuff is awesome and cheap. Just buy a bunch, use one pouch for each big batch of pads.
Can you please test the ryobi 2300 with the 5 in 1 nozzle and report back what psi it is getting?

If you havnt found here yet, try obsessed Garage, that guy is a fn nut about stats. If anyone has the numbers its him lol.
Josh what do you think about doing this but with the addition of using two buckets, one with a super clean solution and the pad soaking before you get to them and then a second bucket of clean water to do a first rinse quick and then a final rinse with a faucet?

Yea thats a great idea. The only issue is the pads want to float so the dont soak as much as they should but if you can get them to stay down that would help. Just dont go too heave with the mixture because you dont want it to affect the glue holding on the velcro attachment point
Yo Josh, thanks for another money saving vid. but why not put you on a K/N 95 mask when you blow off the pad with compressed air. That way you'll be around to make more vids for us.
I literally just bout a whole new setup and after just ripping the pads off and cleaning them ONE TIME the material on the back of the pad is pulled almost half way off so now the pad is RUINED after just two uses…. What did I do wrong ?? They were $10 per pad. UGH
After getting the lake country pad washer 4000 I really don't see the point in most other methods. It makes it too easy to keep your pads clean.
Detail guardz pad washer will pay for itself in time savings in a month
So if I’m just starting out and can’t afford a ton of pads, can you clean on the fly? Is it ok if they’re a little damp when start to polish again?

I'm sure it's fine, but I would sandwich them real quick in a microfiber towel and just squeeze/flatten them on a flat surface to push some moisture out. You have to condition the pad again anyways with the compound/polish to resaturate them and then put on your dots after

Be careful of that stool! It was recalled by Harbor Freight. El cheapo wheels. Mine bent, I fell on my ass and I tossed it out before the recall. Better stools may be more expensive but much safer.
