How to Fix Mid-Back (Thoracic) Pain | Thoracic Mid-Back Mobility

In this video, Dr. Jon Saunders will show you how to fix mid-back (thoracic spine) pain in 3 easy movements. You will instantly feel relief of your mid-back stiffness and pain.
While this will help those with middle back pain, you will find loosening up your mid-back will also help relieve neck pain, shoulder stiffness, muscle knots, and even low back pain, as the thoracic spine connects and influences both the neck and low back.
Please do the movements in the order shown - 1. Stretch 2. Exercise 3. Traction - for best results in getting rid of your mid-back pain and stiffness. This can be done 3 times per day and it only takes minutes. It is the perfect break to get up from behind your desk. :)

    Can you make a video on so joint pain. There’s a muscle in my hip or leg that pulls to my SI joint causing pain. Plus I always have difficulty putting on my sock on that leg if that helps any.

    can i do this 1 week after a my chiropactor traitment thanks. PS . i have no severe back problems just had some spasms and inflammation 2 weeks ago. i am a tall girl and i feel that in my middle back is always so tense

    What is your best advice for pain in the hips, lower back, a pinched nerve in the right side of the neck after a fall and that the menopause doesn't help. I'm going to start your exercises and I so hope that work. I really need to sleep. Thankfully I'm really patient. If your exercises work , I will share them with others. Thanks

    Thank you so much! I sit way too much in my everyday life and have therefore said neck/shoulder pain. Last year I started having visual field loss on my right eye for a short period of time because of my tense muscles. (I consulted my doctor, got physiotherapy and exercises but it happened again and again despite doing the recommended exercises). I tried your exercises and after the last step (laying on the towel) I felt a sudden improvement on my eye (felt less tense if that makes any sense). First time, that I feel like stretching the right area. I'll keep doing these and again, thank you so so much for your video.

    I have problems since a bad fall with a pinched nerve that sometimes affects my mind and it is really painful. I'm going to try your exercises on this problem, I will make sure to leave a great comment. I like what I see in the videos, so tomorrow morning I'm going to try. Thanks

    Hi Dr. Jon I’ve Straightened lumbar lordotic curve , denoting back muscle sprain , can’t sleep on my back and when I walk I feel pain in my legs especially right leg and back area , backbone .the pain in my mid backbone doesn’t go, give me a tip or an exercise that help me to get rid of pain and regain my daily routine ..     I have severe pain in thoracic spine. I do all three of these exercises at mu therapy, after my therapist works on my back with a tool. It has taken some of the pain away, but not all. I still cannot stand straight up.

    I'd like to say I'm super skeptical about these kinds of videos, but because I haven't been able to sleep for so long and was getting super negative, I have begun doing them and I notice a difference, evidently it needs time, but I'm really happy I notice something. Thanks. Are there exercises that work out the entire spinal column?

    thank you dr saunders! im a 22 year old sporty guy, i started working out with weights 6 month ago, 1 day suddenly i had massive problems with breathing / feeling dizzy - problems i have to this day, MRI picture showed thoracic fusion vertebra between th3 and 4, i got no disc there. have a slight skoliosis to the right aswell, my spinal canal is fine. went to many specialist, they told me it cant be from my back and told me to do PT, but the pain exactly in that area of th4 stays. do you have any ideas what to do except PT, and exercises for the back, should i visit a neurosurgeon? it really drains my energy, and i dont know how to move on.. i often use your videos when i got neck problems, they help me a lot, thanks!
