    Standard things that science shows over and over again. Training a muscle group minimum of 2 times a week with relative volume to your advancement in the gym with sets near to failure while resting 2-4 minutes between sets. There even is a study that shows that if your muscle is damaged and you go to train it again while it's recovering it gets even more damaged. In other words not only you're increasing the risk of an injury but your gains slow down significantly because you need to mitigate muscle damage and soreness before training again to get proper adaptations for the stimulus you provide. More is not always better if you don't take care of your recovery. I remember I did 40 sit ups every hour when I was 12, I had insane soreness to the point I couldn't do anything. And later I got efficient in doing this style but the gains were sub optimal and I was spending whole day doing this, because I needed to up my reps every time to keep up with progressive overload. After that I started searching for information about ab workouts and realized that 3 times a week of 15 minutes were more beneficial than doing 1000 sit ups a day.

  • @grambo3343

    @grambo3343

    @@Airidas778 you have zero idea what you are talking about. This is absolutely a great way to workout certain areas. I think this is more beneficial for something like pull-ups where the average person cannot do more than 5. You do 1 every hour during work for a week. Next week you do 2 every hour. In 10 weeks you went from doing 5 a day to over 100 a day. You clearly do not know much about working out. I watched your videos and you have terrible form and strength.

    Ten years ago one of my TKD students (12 yo) was coming up to her BB grading she had to do 50 knuckles push ups. Her max at the time was 30 so I set her a task to do 15 KPU five times a day (=75) seven days a week and every week increase that by 5 per set KPU! By the time her grading came up Three months out she was pumping out seven hundred min. KPU a week = 100 knuckle pushups a day. On her grading day she produced 100 knuckle push ups without a break! That was at the end of her grading. Outstanding. You’re the first trainer I have ever heard say this in thirty-five years of my teaching. Nice.

Try to do at least 5 sets of these everyday and don't forget to have rest days (and stay active in these days dont just sit down and watch tv) just a simple walk will do. It’s just another name for doing an ok no. of reps ( just don’t max out) throughout the day without any guideline for how much time you rest* There is no reason to wait 2 hours between sets lol. Rest for as short as you want just make sure you stay doing any amount of reps throughout the day. David Goggins quite literally greased the groove to a pull up world record back in the day.

    A month and a half ago before I got sick I randomly was like I’m going to increase my push-ups and started doing 400 pushups a day and after a few days of doing it you really get numbed out I didn’t feel much after doing it for a week or two but then my eye got super fucked up so I had to stop but now that I’m better I’m going to start again, I’m 19 6’0, 140lbs

    Just do one extra rep each day. 50 reps one day, 51 the next, 52, 53 etc - works because you did 53 the day before but why not just one more. I used this before joining the army and ended up being able to hit 100 presses easily in one go.

    Man I did 74 one day, and the next time I tried I got to that 75 and thought after, (while still holding myself up after that 75th), “what’s one more?”… went down for another, then another… By 86 I remember laughing. I pushed all the way to 101.. my goal for the year was 100, but I couldn’t stop.. 😂 There are moments we never forget in life. I like the idea of improvement, but the mind and spirit can be much stronger than the body…
