So, for anyone that went thru SFAS (special forces assessment and selection),which I did in 2000, they have this philosophy of not telling us what our goals are for runs, push ups etc. They believe if or when you have that in mind, you will pace yourself and not give your all from the start. Now this may not necessarily apply here, but what I am getting to, is how the mind works, because as the person is counting reps, like in your pull up challenge shown here, whether consciously or subconsciously, we start to react to that and we can start to feel fatigue. Every objective we were given, they never told us how far we had to run or march, they never counted our reps so we could hear.

he is definitely capping on walking 60 miles a day... i did my 1st marathon last October (26 miles) and granted, yeah we were running for most of it but my feet were so sore that when i went to the gym the next day, i couldn't walk faster than 2mph on the tread mill (usually, i go 6.5-8.5mph).

The maximum amount of steps I did in a day was 106,000* steps in 24 hours. On that day I walked from 12.00am Midnight to next day 12.00am Midnight with breaks to drink water/black coffee, charging my phone, etc. The total time I walked was 17 hours total out of 24 hours. So what does this prove! I think he walks 16 miles daily and not 60 miles. It's totally unrealistic until and unless he does nothing but walk all day, and that too without sleeping. And I did that 3 times. First time - 102,000* steps in 16 hours 40 minutes. Second time - 104,000* steps in 17 hours. Third time - 106,000* steps in 17 hours. FYI, I did these self-induced challenges in Lockdown 2020 in the month of September. Much Love.

@billybob-kv9kh, this would take some practice, but of course you can't control if someone is counting aloud like if you entered a challenge of some sort. Like I mentioned, in SFAS they don't count for you to hear, however, the let down can be that you may have counted in your mind, and the reps counted or thought were good, they did not think so, then you could end up with less than you thought.
