You CAN Do Pushups

#shorts #hybridcalisthenics #pushups
I have a longer video on this, but I'm posting this for the Shorts Shelf. Plus some people like the bite-sized videos!
If you can't do a pushup, don't let it ruin your day!
Fitness is a journey, and we're all at different places.
Just find a pushup variation that you CAN do safely and competently, and work it until you're able to hit a goal of sets and reps!
Then you can move on to a harder variation.
Here's the progression:
Wall Pushups - 3 sets of 50
Incline Pushups - 3 sets of 40
Kneeling Pushups - 2 sets of 25
That's it! Let me know if you have any questions and I'll be happy to address them!
I'll make a follow-up to this on how to build up to one-arm pushups!
Thanks so much for watching!

Hey everyone! How can I help you and serve you? That's what I'm here to do! I also want to thank all the new followers that have joined recently. I really, really appreciate the love and support you all show me and I'll do my best to earn it. I'm trying to level up my production game for everyone right now, haha. I don't own a proper video camera yet. I've been using my smartphone and sometimes a DSLR.

Can you talk about nutrition? Like how to make nutrition easier for people who may not be able to afford to eat like they want to or should. Or alternatives for making common and possibly unhealthy meal a little healthier. I think for many (like myself) it can seem overwhelming trying to understand macros and whatnot.

It depends. Some people derive motivation from being challenged. You may call it "shaming" but the reality is it more about challenging the person to push past their limits than anything approaching "shame". Typically this is a more competitive person. It isn't effective with everyone, but if you are that kind of person than he would not be the best fit for a personal trainer. There is no "one way" to accomplish anything when it comes to fitness. Every person, every personality, every body chemistry, and every body is different.

Either way who the fuck cares if it’s called a girl push-up by a lot of people, when a term becomes generally used by the majority of society it looses a great deal of discriminatory nature, many of nicknames for things are based of stereotypes. Also just for the record there are no official fitness instructional manual or video that uses the term “girl push-up” scientifically.
