You are right there are cheaply made I usually need to fold a piece of aluminum foil into a button and put it under the button.

Good idea! Yeah, they def are. The remotes I picked up and used this device to program that have the remote start buttons on them feel WAY better. The buttons are much more solid and tactile. Huge improvement over the cheap remotes that came with the programming tool.

Thank you! My fob is the same but I have the remote start feature and I ordered it separately from the programmer you have. Do you think it will still work?

No problem! And yes, it should work fine. I actually programmed 2 remote start key fobs (these ones amzn.to/48aUpOJ) for my daughter's car with the programmer and it worked perfectly.

Will this forsure work on a 2016 Chev Impala Limited LS?

It should! Nothing changed with the Impala Limited cars between 2014 and 2016.

If your programing does not work, I needed to go to keyshop they connected programer they could not make it work, so must be the car is maxed out with 4 fobs, he ereased all fobs in memory than he was able to program new fobs. New fobs working now.

@@D3RPZILLA Bought the car 1year ago it came with 2 fobs, previous owner must have replaced both once without deleting the old ones,.

Is there an extra step for the remote start

Nope! Programs exactly the same. I programmed 2 remote starts with the same programmer plus the non remote start fob that came with the programmer.

So I have a 2013 Impala LT and it does not have the relearn key option. Will this work?

@andrewmeadows3232 I'm not sure.. mine doesn't as well. I think only certain years and trims have it and I'm not sure what ones has it.

It's the older ones that have it built in. 2011 and later dont.

@@bryanhersman4037 Ok, cool, thank u for the info :D I thought maybe it was a trim specific thing.. like the "LTX" or fancier trims got it and the less fancy ones did not. So, they ALL could in the earlier models/trims?

Thank u really help me out i just ordered new key robs...i got robbed for my keys now i have to reprogram it

O snaps! Dang! Well, glad this helped! If your car has remote start feature you can use this programmer to program the remote start key fobs as well! Just added 2 remote key fobs to the car last weekend :D I used these key fobs, amzn.to/3LByXso, and they work PERRECTLY and the buttons seem nicer than the ones that came on the key fob with the programmer. Amazon says "does not fit" but they work great.
