Want to combine the key and remote fob into one in your older Chevrolet/GMC/GM vehicle? It's actually much easier than you'd think and no locksmith required!
The instructions here should work for most GM vehicles in the 2006-2015 range. However, I can't guarantee that it will work for every vehicle in that range.

Unfortunately I don’t see any aftermarket flip style key fobs out there for the 06 Colorado.
Will this work on my 2014 Tahoe?

I can’t say for sure that it will, but according to Amazon’s compatibility list, it should. Just double check the number on your current key fob before ordering to make sure it matches.
Anyone have luck with a 2015 Traverse?

The vehicle I was using for the demonstration on was a 2012 Traverse. The 2015 should be the same procedure.
