Hi. Do you have any tips for reprogramming a key fob for a 2013 Nissan Serena? It does not have the slot to put the key fob in though. Its just a proximity version. I have one working key fob. Thank you.

Will it work on a Nissan Altima 2016 with automatic transmission but also has the DS option to shift manually?

It should work just fine since it's an automatic vehicle, even though it has the DS feature. You can call tech support if you want to ask them. 877-765-7269

I received the Simple Key programmer and fob yesterday for my 2009 Infiniti G37X. I watched this video closely, and compared the steps in the video to the instructions in your User Guide. Unfortunately, the guide doesn't match this video. On Page 4 of the User Guide in Step 10, I'm instructed to insert one of my original keys into the key pairing slot which this video shows at the 6:18 mark. The video then continues until the original key pairing is completed and you're asked if you want to pair another key. Step 14 of the User Guide, however, says "Insert a smart key into the slot in the dash. Press the EZ Installer button to continue." Obviously, this is wrong since there's already an original smart key in the slot in the dash from step 10. What's going on? Why the confusion with Step 14? Since this process erases the original keys, I want to be sure I completely understand the instructions before I begin. Your written instructions don't match this video, and your website has no corrections to these written instructions on your FAQ page. Finally, I left a voicemail, sent an email, and texted you at 1:30 Utah time (2:30 Central), and didn't hear back from anyone. Pretty frustrating.

You'll need to have a dealership or locksmith make a new key. Then we can help you make a spare, probably for a lot less than they are going to charge.

will this work with matching factory fobs from other sites such as eBay?

One of our FOBs was stolen... does this procedure reprogram the code such that the stolen FOB will be invalidated ?

Yes, the stolen fob will be erased when programming Nissan and INFINITI vehicles. Only the fobs you have in possession when you program will be paired to your vehicle.

Will my after market alarm work after this procedure.

It's not recommended you make a key with this product if you have aftermarket parts like a remote start or alarm installed. They may not interact well

Unknown. There were not enough GT-R sold for this to have been tested. We unfortunately have to recommend the dealership in case anything goes wrong in the programming. It's common for vehicles to share the same keys and ignition systems as other models. But not always, even within the same year. Sounds like you have an awesome car!
