A WILD RIDE INTO CARS, TECH, GAMING, & MORE!!
I do videos on a wide array of topics related to my unhealthy number of hobbies and obsessions! Currently this includes cars, tech, gaming, and my 2021 Camaro ZL1... plus a dash of randomness to keep things interesting. Welcome!
Check out the z1lla shop on my website at www.z1lla.com/shop :D There are a lot more products coming soon so check back often! Thank you!
Have something for me to do a video/review on and/or want to sponsor me? Email me! Let's make it happen! ;)
NOTE: All footage is rendered in Unreal Engine 5. No driving footage is recorded in the real world. All speeds are faked by video edit tricks to make everything look faster than it really is.

After the header & exhaust upgrades did you get it tuned? Also, are you running the stock internals and stock trans? Thanks! I got a 2000 5.0 AWD that I’m restoring and I want to build it up a bit for a nice little sleeper daily.
Yes, stock internals and transmission. I did recently have to rebuild my transmission valve body though. Truck is tuned but it needs retuned eventually but it's harder now to get a tune as the EGR is deleted and emission crack downs by the EPA make things more difficult, unfortunately :-/. Sounds like you have a fun project in the works! :)

You can also do Gabriel load shocks in the rear. I'll let you know how it goes soon.
Nice! Sounds good! How much do they run?
@@D3RPZILLA $100 for my 2004 Ford explorer sport Trac. Load carrier shocks. Almost everyone gets 1 inch lift from the Monroe or the Gabriel. Usually dead on one inch.
@@D3RPZILLA I did the torch off road lift for the sport Trac. I used the one with the add a leaf in the rear and new torsion keys and shocks in the front. That was $200. I'm right at about 0.25 inches higher in the rear , dead level , slight rake... I'm going to add the Gabriel shocks and hopefully I'll be dead on 1 inch of rake or so. Factory rake was 1 to 1.5 inches. Won't hurt to have new rear shocks anyway. So the total kit will wind up being like $300. Not too bad. Should be a full 3 inch lift basically instead of 3 inch level lift when it's all said and done. I'm trying to get the rear spring rate (and really the wheel rate) closer to the front. I did some measurements just by adding weight , watching the drop and then computing the effective spring rate. After the lift , the front rate is way higher. So stiffening the rear will bring them closer. It rides fine , just has a slight lean in the back on turns... As it is right now , the grip is REALLY good. Neutral steer almost. I'm really surprised that I got a pickup truck to neutral steer in 2wd. I'm expecting slight oversteer after stiffening the rear.

Would this fit on a 6 gen Camaro? Not sure where it would fit, Great video thank you!
@JoseFlores-iw4bg Thank you! Yes it does, perfectly. They offer 2 mounting locations on the 6th gen Camaro. I run their mount that installs down by the passenger left side knee bolsters. Check out my video, kzread.info/dash/bejne/aYOltpaPgbibdrw.html. Install is exactly the same as my video but you would select the mighty mount option for the phone mount portion.
@@D3RPZILLA ah yes now I see what you mean, I did check your other video too, is this a mount that could be places on the driver side instead of the passenger?
@@JoseFlores-iw4bg yes.. the second mounting location option mounts close to the right side of the gauge cluster.
@@JoseFlores-iw4bg www.proclipusa.com/products/855366-proclip-center-mount-chevrolet-camaro-2016-20xx is the gauge cluster mount option but it looks like they say it's not compatible with the Mighty Mount version of the phone holder :-/ It IS compatible with their other options though.. such as the MagicMount and some others.
Would this work fine with just string and pulleys?
Maybe a string, pulleys, counterweight of some sort, etc.. could rig up something I'm sure :D My son and I are still using this setup and it still works perfectly :)
@@D3RPZILLAalso looking at the demo, although its better than wires wrapping you up they are touching head so i would be adding more tension above the head there especially if he isn’t ducking
Very nice Camaro! The grey and carbon fiber looks great with the sky!❤😊
@@Pandathefatcat thank you! I love the combo!
@@D3RPZILLA 🦅🇺🇸😁
@Pandathefatcat one of the reasons I picked the satin steel car color was it gave me back to the future DeLorean vibes lolll.
@@D3RPZILLA lol that’s very cool especially on a 1le
Surprised more people aren’t here after what happened yesterday. Speeches like this is how we got here.
@@ErikCB912 yeah man, wild.
How good is the adhesive on the back of the mount? Will it hold a hefty power bank? Think of picking up this system.
@damnedsaint5463 The adhesive grup strength if very good.. it should hold just about anything short of a car battery, lol. But any reasonable sized battery or device shouldn't have any issues. Just be sure to clean the mounting surface properly and after installing give it some time to properly cure before trying to mount it.
Any updates?
Still holding up as good as the day I installed everything. Keeps the garage cooler longer in the Texas summer heat but eventually the garage will still heat up. Stays warmer in the winter. Mostly installed as step 1... step 2 being installing a ductless AC setup like a Mr. Cool... so, saving for that now :D
@D3RPZILLA thank you for this very descriptive and informative video. I'm going to do mine. Can you please tell us what state you live in, to see if our winters are similar? Also can you tell us how it's holding up?
@dyamondprincess28 no problem! I love in south Texas so... not a very cold winter, haha, but brutal summers. Really, it's best coupled with something like a ductless hvac setup which is what I plan on doing. So far it's all still holding up perfectly and as good as the day I installed.
Thanks! Really well done video!
Thanks a ton!! Glad you found it helpful!

Thanks for the video I appreciate it. I have never seen a breaker box outside for a house
@scootermanadventures1810 haha no problem. All of the main breakers here are outside and then the main sub panel with all the various home breakers is inside the garage.
Good coverage. Off topic, I like the color of your ZL1, looks great.
Thank you! Me too, lol! I picked it as it made me think of Back to the Future and the DeLorean :D

Sick car bro I just bought a ZL1 1LE I noticed on your lip it’s full carbon mine is a matte finish in order to add that carbon lip do I need to remove the bumper ?
Thank you! I have a regular ZL1 (didn't want the big ol wang and wanted to keep adjustable mag ride, lol) and I converted the front to the ZL1 1LE look but with carbon fiber parts. And yes, for the front splitter, you need to remove the bumper. I did a video series on the conversion when I did it. Bumper removal: kzread.info/dash/bejne/qJOtwc5ykaTghso.html, Splitter install: kzread.info/dash/bejne/rKlnxsRplsq2nbg.html, and Bumper Install: kzread.info/dash/bejne/Z6CD3JqOptS3pZM.html.
I just bought a new titan with this engine. Anybody have carbon build up issues on their intake valves?
Carbon build-up is a thing with every direct injected engine, unfortunately. If worried about it you can get the valves walnut blasted and then install a catch can go help keep the build up down.
Could you show how to redo seats?
What do you mean redo them? Like.. reupholster them? Or replace a seat? I kept the original fabric on mine and when I took the seats out to replace my carpet I used a carpet cleaner extractor and cleaned the seats super good and then stuffed in some extra foam to fill I'm the collapsed side bolstering of drivers seat.
Question how did you get your vents, steering wheel center peace and spectrum peaces that color? (Carbon Fiber peace)
Heya! They are various carbon fiber pieces that I added... I have videos and links to just about everything in my show mods Playlist, Camaro Show Mods: kzread.info/head/PLoNfXMX20G4cHM3HBwlOqyBfEleTeLA8D
Is there any way to test if the ground is working?
Thanks for the video 👍. My Z L and 1 are currently all plast-dipped black, but I think I want to order one of these for if and when the plasti-dip starts wearing off...nice to know the bubble letters just pop off there that easy 👍👍
No problem! Yeah, I was surprised how easily they just flew right off, lol. My other emblems on the hood and rear I believe I got from wildhammer.

Yes, if you want to retain steering wheel controls.

About to get my first fully running 97 explorer for $500 today, seller needs it gone cause they are moving soon, this is gonna be my truck forever, I’ll replace motors year round if I have to 🤣🤙🏼💯
Heck ya! $500, can't really beat that price!
How can I find that exact car fiber ??
Heya! This is the exact kit that I installed, www.carid.com/2000-ford-explorer-dash-kits/remin-dash-kit-78287347.html?ab_three_column_content=1&ab_three_column_options=1 :D
are the knee bolsters alcantara as well ?
Yes, I had them made with red Alcantara and a grayish stitching so they were pretty much an inverse of the seats and blended perfectly. The oem "red knee bolsters" option unfortunately is a thin red leather and I didn't like them.
Weirdly enough, Biden isnt too far off from an earlier concept of Palpatine from an older version of the script. In this version, Emperor Palpatine was a weak, senile old man used as a puppet figurehead by the likes of people like Tarkin, the true power behind the Imperial throne. It's alluded to in the prologue of the novelization of A New Hope, which was based on an earlier draft than what was used for shooting the movie.
Oof... scary.

Do you notice any wear on the bottom of the quick jacks from sliding them around? I’m interested but would be on pavement for most my work. I wish they came with bearings on the bottom. I’m just concerned the scraping would lead to eventual rust etc.
No.. no weird or excessive wear. I do use mine on Swisstrax floor tiles which I'm sure helps but tons of people use them on pavement without any issues that I've ever heard of. You could be exceptionally careful with them and add perhaps some paint protective film to the frames maybe? Or.. I've seen some people mod on caster wheels (zip tie them on or whatever) to slide it around on wheels under the car to get them into place... Also, I just found something called the "QuickJack GlideRide Caster System" on Etsy, www.etsy.com/listing/1451751100/quickjack-glideride-caster-system-smooth, which seems to offer a direct bolt on solution. They have a video on it at kzread.info/dash/bejne/aZOO18SFgrG3pZc.html. I haven't tried this myself but am tempted :D
How much was the LED strip lights?
Right now they look to be about $50 for the 32 foot section and $80 for 65 foot on Amazon, amzn.to/3NfHmAV.
Hey, do you think it’s safe to use the dji magnetic mount + smallrig case on a motorcycle or car (in case you used it on your car) ? I’m a bit worried about the strength of the mount when driving/riding
Yes, should be no problem at all! It's rock solid.
