So glad you guys are doing this! The one thing stopping me from picking up one of the new triumph 900 line bikes was the low numbers on paper. Having had this fitted recently (April 2019) and finished running it in (300 miles back from Newcastle and a couple of other runs taking it to 500 miles) and then doing the oil and filter change, I can vouch for George's claims. The engine finally does what it should have done out of the factory. She has been released! :) George was excellent and I now have an even torquier engine and an unrecognisably better top end. Thanks to George for his great work in figuring this out and in delivering it to the market. A highly recommended upgrade for any Street Twin owner.

I've watched this video twice and I have to say you really put your research to the test. I did hear you mention that the problem with the older motors was that the clutch wasn't up to the job. Im about to replace the clutch any advise on perhaps using a different clutch to get a better balance, maybe a different cam.

Great Work, nice to see that some people still do descent research in performance tuning. What it does prove is that Triumph for some reason “known only to them” crippled the potential performance of this engine which as an owner has greatly p*s*ed me off. I would definitely do the work but I guess if you were to do a camshaft replacement like this it would void all warranties you have on the bike?

Hi, I would love if you can make the video/guide which you were talking about at the end of the video, on which is the perfect combination you recommend in terms of customizations to make the most in performance from this bike. Right now I've installed the V&H 2:1 Pipe with its own map and K&N filter. I was wondering if purchasing the Dynojet Power-Control V would also help. Nevertheless, I'm thinking to take the camshaft from your shop, especially now that Triumph basically did the same improvement on the new Street Scrambler 2019. But before to do that, I would like to hear from you. Thanks!

Thanks George, I have the Street Scrambler and didn't understand why the HP was so low for a 900cc motor. I'm assuming this would void the Triumph warranty, at least on the engine. I've only had the bike for 8 months, so I'll have to wait a little longer for the cast cam if you take it to production. I sure hope you do.
